The full length versions are loud as hell at an outdoor range! I couldn't imagine being inside next to someone shooting the pistol version. Your ears still ringing?

Last time we went to AFS to shoot my friend brought his 30-06 for kicks. We asked them if it was ok to use in there, they said no problem. After the first round down range everyone was just staring at my friend cause it was so Damn loud in there.

I had a similar experience sighting in my Remington 700 when I first bought it.

Everybody was all like "pop! pop!" :fenforcer: with handguns at the indoor range, and there were a couple of guys with AR's going "pew pew pew......pew pew.....pew pew pew pew pew....pew"

I opened up the first round with that 7mm Rem Mag and it was like a cannon in that enclosed space. Pretty sure everybody shooting at that moment missed their targets completely because I jumped them so bad.

    :infantry:

    Edit: It was awesome.

Hope I never have to . But yes my gun addition is getting bad lol

I almost shit myself . There was a 3 foot flame coming out of that thing . I took a break while he shot . He only put 20 rounds down range and left .

I try to stay out of bass pro or any of the local firearms stores for that very reason.

And being in NH I'm sure doesn't help. You guys can own all the cool stuff up there AND have ammo shipped to your door from the internet bargain shops!

I haven't really found any awesome deals with ammo online yet . I got 1000rnds from that freedom ammunition because it was free shipping . But other then that I just buy it at the local shops . 22 is still really hard to find . Bass pro gets there shipment in at 8am Saturday morning and it's gone by 9am .

I guess it depends on what you're trying to buy online and what you're shooting. I can find cases of ammo for one of my rifles online for around $100, cheapest in MA I can find was $140 :(

I've given up actively looking for .22. If I'm in a store anyways and they have some, I grab what I can but otherwise, my 'cheap shooter' just stays in the safe, unused for the most part.

Nowadays there aren't any "cheap shooters". They are all expensive to shoot and find ammo is better but still harder than it should be

Meh, go big or go home. S&W 500. He already thinks he's Dirty Harry, might as well have the hand cannon to go along with it :D

I was paranoid. I wasn't gonna try to scare em off by racking the slide. I was gonna take it off safe and pull the trigger.
