This! Living in San Antonio, I was hoping to get a truck that had been built locally. Didn't work out, and I'm not upset one bit. I have 0 flaws in my 1 year old Tacoma. It has only seen the dealership 1 time since it left, and that was for a free oil change. I don't experience all the noises and other issues many others get. Runs perfect, drives perfect with no noises or vibes. Couldn't imagine it could be any better than it already is. I'm a satisfied Mexican built taco owner.

    Current Taco model options:

    1) Extra Cheese
    2) Soft or Crunchy
    3) Beef or Chicken
    4) Rice

I really wish on the 2014 you could get beans and jalapenos. Maybe the 2016s will have those options.

    Lots...
OP, before anything else, why do you discriminate just because a country?

I'm not taking anything personal, but I'm Mexican, I live in Mexico, work in Mexico, the people that work for me are Mexican, my partners are Mexicans and I can tell you... there is nothing wrong with all these people...

I can tell you one thing... To be a qualified technician, you need the same training... doesn't matter if you live in Texas, Mexico or China...

I just want to know why you are telling that just because something comes from Mexico it doesn't have any reliability?

Have you ever travelled to Mexico? Have you seen all the industry in the whole country? Do you know that the #2 richest person in the world is a Mexican?

    And please...

Cuando intentes hablar en español, por favor hazlo de la manera correcta.

    The Dust Bowl
In fact, to meet ISO standards many American tech schools had to increase the level of their training.

Immigrants literally built America but have traditionally been looked down upon by the current residents, themselves descendants of immigrants. The prejudice toward recent immigrants often extends to their countries too.

I once overheard a maintenance worker commenting on how he wished that a group of "stupid Mexicans" on campus would just go back to their own country. Those "stupid Mexicans" weren't even all Mexicans, many being from Central and South America, but they were all graduate students or professors there for a scientific seminar.

Can anyone provide any data that Mexican-made Toyota's are more prone to maintenance issues than American-made ones? The one poll I found here on TW seems to not support this conclusion.
