    Mudflaps aren't an inspection item anymore. I recommend taking your truck to a small shop. The techs will have a lot of people to answer to and are generally more strict than small shops. Fwiw, you will have to pass the emissions test which is just a gas cap test and an OBD emissions readiness check to make sure you don't have any DTCs stored.

    Yeah, for a solid axle you would attach it to the main steering arm, but for a rack and pinion seems that you wouldn't want to do tjat
