12ga is awesome for home defense, but I live in a small, narrow house. It would be hard to whip that around at someone

 

exactly. although my 500 pistol grip was pretty small for a shotty.

I was looking at a pistol gripped one today, and I liked the feel of it, but the action sucked.

I picked up a rock island M5 12ga for $208.20. The action is sooooo nice! Can't wait to cycle a few rounds through it

 

rock island is really underrated. their 1911's are actually pretty nice for the price.

 

The last few days I have been getting a bunch of calls about jobs, but no confirmed interview times yet so far.

I can't tell what's going on in those pics. I see some scrapage on the 3rd and oil leaking maybe?

If so... the 3rd damage looks cosmetic if the gears are working fine. Just pull the third down, redo the gasket with Mr. Gasket and call it a day.
