From what i heards today, it sounds like he lets out a lot of the shit he held back during his playing years. That said, this is based on a media report. We all know they tend to focus on the controversial.

I respect Selanne even more for that. Bob Miller and Fox were some of the first to welcome him to broadcasting, I'm sure he will be great.

 

Ageism, perhaps. Regardless, I would say Selanne is a bright guy. He understands the detriment of bitching publicly when you are part of a team. He isn't/wasn't a selfish player or person. This makes his current choice to express himself that much more impactful and relevant.

 

It also raises interest in his book and helps sell more copies.

Does anyone know where Ryan Jones is? Last 'rumor' I heard, was a possible try out with the fLames. Not sure if he's even likely to crack an NHL team at this point - but I still like him. Just thought maybe someone here knows.
