Went to Frys today - none on display by the sales guy had on and let me check it out. The 6 will be a nice upgrade from the 4 - bigger, thinner, lighter, easier to use. Will upgrade once the mad rush is over.

'm still contemplating. The ability to download my music right into my phone without the use of iTunes etc is what is keeping me from switching. That and if my battery is low during the day I don't have hope where ever I am there is a charger or my drive is long enough to charge the phone. Those are the only two. Yes the note 3 has an awesome camera but video wise and sharing those moments forget it unless you upload to a computer first.

Someone posted about apps for androids being like 80 % internationally and whatever state side. I agree android does have a plethora of apps and most free. But we also have a bunch of apps that don't work when they need to because their are so many apps across so many platforms. The apps that work on my note 3 may not work on your s4. And vice versa. I can't tell you how many times I've seen an app that says "for an older version". Most devs that make our apps can't keep up with how many androids get released yearly.

So there ya have it. I'm not an apple fan boy and I own a galaxy note 3. I've owned Notes since day 1 of them being available. And I am now debating on the switch

The app thing is true apple apps work. they are built for iphone/ipad and ipod touches. Also apple is a lot stricter on how apps are built and who can make them.

and the fact apple only releases 1 or maybe 2 phones a year(has been 2 the past two years) seams like there is a new android ever 2 weeks or so.

    yeah he was just trolling.

I wants a phone that just works. I don’t care to change all kinds of stuff on it. i don’t really change anything on the iphone. i surf the web, call, text, take photos/videos and play a very few games.

Apple mentality right there. The phone is better and the sales show it huh?

The best part about all this is it took one comment to make you sheepole freak out about your precious phone. I love how offended you all get over a phone.

Most apps will work just fine unless they've been abandonded since the early Android days, or have been specifically written for a particular phone.

Everyone loves to compare Apple to "Android". Lets start comparing them to actual companies, like Samsung, LG etc. I believe Samsung has a slight edge but not by much.

and yet they would be all mad and probably telling us to GTFO if it was an android thread.

Your chart isn't comparing sales of the iPhone vs another single phone. Typical troll mentality right there.
Show me a chart of a phone vs phone. Not OS, not the company, the phone.

The best part is, you're the one freaking out the most. Everyone of your posts are filled with your little pseudo drama on how everyone else is freaking out. Everyone else is simply saying how they like their phone. While you repeat the same thing hoping to get a response to feed some issue you appear to have against apple.

Android is an OS. iPhone is a phone. Not what I was referring to.

Let me know when a Samsung smart phone sells for more on the black market than it's initial MSRP. Also, let me know when thousands of people line up to get a Samsung smart phone. Weeks in advance mind you.

"Better" is subjective. The response to any new iPhone is not.

IDK why everyone gets so butthurt over a phone.. I've had both. My iPhone wasnt that great but my S3 has been just fine minus battery life. But just because I've liked my S3 more, I dont feel the need to reassure myself that my phone is good by making stupid posts about how much better it is than the other. The iPhone 6 looks cool but would I buy it, probably not. The S6 comes out at the end of this year and I wont be buying it either. Buying a new phone every year seems like such a waste of money.

I guess an an Android user, I'll never understand the need to camp out overnight or pay top dollar for 2 year old technology. I certainly can't see myself paying a few hundred for an even older used device.
