    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
    Workin on it!! Lol *sigh*

LOVE it man. You will love your setup just as much I promise.

Not a lot of people are going to like this, but I don't care: I'll put ADS above ANY of the "big" companies that make coilovers and shocks for our trucks---whether it be stock replacement or custom length. Their customer service, attention to detail, and machine work is really hard to beat. More and more people will see overtime what I'm talking about...

For now, I like being the guy running something "different" than the norm. You will too. :)

Nothing to see here, move along. :D

Hard to believe, but I've kept this damn car in my garage for the last 5 years---hooked up to a battery tender and under a massive blanket of dust. It's the ORIGINAL money pit before I started dipping into Tacomas lol. If any of you frequent NASIOC or IWSTI, just look up my handle on those boards. You'll see I was most active between 2003-2008 lol.

I couldn't take it anymore, so I changed that yesterday. The (re)start of a never ending project and proof of my addiction to BOOOOST. :) I've got a few things I need to handle maintenance wise before she's back out on the road....and yes, there are already plans for a bigger turbo and forged internals. Needless to say, the Tacoma will be repurposed as the parts transporter for this project.

Here she was in her 5 yr old dust. Pulled her out the garage and cleaned the wheels first:

    The finished product:

    LOL thanks Tor!

Those tires probably have less than 3000 on em actually haha. I have an obsession with Toyo Tires  They're the R888's.

I am probably wrong, but I was saying that about the new tires because of the tread marks on the driveway. Probably just water huh?

While I had a wheel being repaired recently, I had my old spare tire on. Hadn't been used since I purchased the truck. Turned out of the driveway, and it left rubber tread marks through the whole turn. Dang rubber was all dry rotted. That was the first thing I thought of when I saw those tread marks.

I will have to see if they make those R888's in my size. Those are nice!

Haha ohh I definitely know what you're talking about! In this case, it was the water she was bathed in that caused the tire marks LOL.

I did have a set of Yoko Advan A048's on another set of wheels for the STi that I've heat cycled beyond what anyone should and those things are like markers on a dry erase board now haha.

The R888's are phenomenal track biased tires----as long as they're dry. Rain? Hell, even semi wet conditions.... FUHGETTABOUTIT.

Probably the best track biased tire I've ever had that was good when the rain came was the Advan A048. Not as readily available as the R888, but a damn good tire all around if you actually drive places outside of the track. This is coming from the mindset of a "weekend warrior" so I definitely wouldn't recommend either of these for a daily driven vehicle LOL. Treadwear rating is like 100 and below haha

We used to call 'em hockey pucks once they get like that :D

had the evo on the dyno with our street tires (had been heat cycled tons and sat on the concrete floor one winter...) once and the car was just skating on the rollers  Danny our tuner was like "what you got on here!? Hockey-pucks!" They make for a fun street tire though especially with awd :D

Holy crap, how did I miss all of this? LOL

:( Time for new wheels? :D

Right on, thanks man! Right back at you---seems like you're damn near my 05-11 equivalent in terms of performance, color theme haha. Hell, even down to the same tire model except you run 17's lol.

Hockey pucks! I like it lol. Wish I could dig up the old vids my smokey AWD launches with my FUBAR'd A048's, but I think they're stuck on my dead desktop computer. :(

:D Thanks man. Just another hole that my money never sees the bottom of.

Nothing really new to report on the truck unfortunately haha. I DO have a Brute Force standard rear bumper on order which should be coming to me within the next few weeks!

I guess I'll just spam this thread with updates on the revival of my STi :D

Got her PROPERLY detailed by my go to guy. Up until a weekend ago, I hadn't thrown one coat of wax on her for like 5 years! Luckily she's been garage kept so no exposure to the elements.

Anyway, my detailer did an amazing job on her.
    -clay bar
    -2 coats of paint polish/guard
-1 thick coat of pure carnuba wax
    -engine detail
    -interior detail

Hopefully in a month or 2 I'll be buying a brand new factory shortblock case(no pistons/conrods/crank) and begin the race motor build on this thing.

Dude ADS FTMFW!:headbang: I'm looking through your pics at how much preload you have, when you get a chance can you tell me how many threads are showing or just measure them? And then how many threads more are showing on Driver Side for the taco lean?

I need to crank mine up a bit , my driver side is still leaning with 4-5threads showing. I have no preload on the passenger yet
