    Where are you guys mounting the solenoid box? I'm using this with the USoffroad bumper and no place seems like it will fit and still be reachable to plug in, or to activate the wireless.

    I am going to be getting new and longer wires and routing it up into the engine bay out of all the elements.

    Going to spend this week taking my gears apart and getting all the grease out of it and repacking it with some good quality grease and sealing it up. Same with the solenoid I am going to open it up and seal it with silicon

    If you do that, won't you have to pop the hood to plug in or activate the wireless? Is that normal for winching? (I have no idea, this is my first 4x4 and winch)

    Well I plan on running 2 switches inside the cab. One to turn the winch on and off. One for in and out. That's the plan in the long run but otherwise yeah you would need to pop the hood. I rather pop the hood though than have the solenoid too low and it corroding so fast it doesn't work when I need it to.
