    ^Woot!
I've been beating on my skids hard today and I can't even tell. Some other tacoworld guys can vouch for that. They thought I flattened my transfer case dropping hard onto a big steel tube. The skid just lost some paint.

I love my KM2s but the difference from a 285/75/16 and a 33x12.50x15 is so noticeable. I'm getting back more than what I paid for the FJ wheels and KM2s anyway

I'm taking long looks at 305/70r16s for my next set as they are closer to the 33/12.5 size. I want to keep the 16" rim size for the tundra brake upgrade.

    Ha gaaaaay!

After beating on my skids even harder, I managed to dent the transfer case skid on the last run of the day after I got ballsy. Good day all in all.

    Looks like mine after today:D

Wheeled hard, managed to high center myself a few times on the t-case skid and took a nose dive into a boulder which put a dent in the IFS skid. I'll take a few pics tomorrow after I wash everything.

Still though, I have zero complaints. I was taking trails and lines with my 30" tires that are challenging for Jeeps running 33's. For all of the beating I gave them today, they held up great and did everything a set of skid plates should do.

On a similar note, I also took my wife wheeling for the first time today. She had a great time, took a ton of pics and videos and even suggested that I get more armor. Only sketchy moment was when my lower control arm took a hit on an unseen rock.

^The 1/8"ers are still fairly beefy in my opinion.

Oh and I forgot, I was wheeling all day without any bolts holding the rear of the IFS skid on. Just 2 bolts to the front bumper is all that holds on my IFS skid because the rear mounts broke off the frame on a previous wheeling trip. The welds broke and my frame is brand new.

Pinch weld mod, wheel spacers and trimming. Still hitting some plastic.

Absolutely. For the beating I gave them today, they exceeded my and everyone elses expectations.

I was wheeling with another Tacoma on 33's and a TJ on 33's and took the approach that "if they can do it, so can I". I should also mention that I have open diffs and "P" rated A/T tires.

One more than one occasion, my tire would slip off a rock and the truck would slam down on either the skids or sliders. Other times, the only way to get past a section was to scrape the skids over rocks until a tire would get up and over. I even managed to gouge 2 of my aluminum wheels on the rocks.

I should mention that this is my DD and drove it 3 hours home tonight. I have zero body damage and zero mechanical damage. Sliders and skids are there to take the beating and protect the important stuff.
