With the upcoming release of the 3rd gen and what we know about it, are you considering to trade for the next gen?

Got mine when it had 4 miles on the odometer. Hoping to add at least 200kmi more :) this is gonna be a keeper. I might hand it down to my son in due time. Is your Tacoma for keeps? :D

I have traded in vehicles every few years and this is my first Tacoma. I think I'm going to keep it for quite a while. If I do buy something else it may be something with much better gas mileage, but I'm still going to keep this truck until it drops.

Mine's probably a keeper. If it's not, the only other truck I'd consider is a 1st gen regular cab 4x4 Tacoma, which is the truck I've had a crush on since forever....

I've been looking around a little lately. I won't buy another 2nd gen Tacoma after having my 08' for nearly 7 years. I figured that if I hold out until the new 3rd gen comes out in 1.5-2 years, I will have to drop 4-4.5K into mine that I would never get back.

I like having a truck and a mid size is the only option for me. A full size just takes up too much room in the garage ( I have to garage it every night in a gated community ) and I'm also looking for a little better fuel mileage. My second job has me driving sometimes 300+ miles a week.

Ill look at the Colorado and Canyon. The drive trains are proven in GM cars like the Caddy CTS and the Camaro, but I'm a little weary of the rest.

My only car option would be a 4 door VW GTI.

    Time will tell.

Guess I will keep mine for a while. Still need a full size truck to haul my mower. So I am looking for a bargain

Mines a keeper until something better comes along. I'd love a smaller truck, more along the lines of the Toyota trucks of the 80's. But, this being Murcia I'm sure that has no chance, they will only continue to get bigger and bigger.

I don't plan on ever selling mine, I just love old Toyota trucks. My '14 4x4 is the perfect truck, it will be with me for many, many years. My youngest is 7, so it might be the perfect truck for him in 9 years.

My '14 TRD/OR will be my lifer. Mostly because I feel like the '14 & '15 models are the best yet. I fear either late in the 3rd gen cycle, or possibly 4th gens, Toyota will focus on less capability (Less clearance for mpg's), then less power to squeeze out more mpg's out.

Their moto will be at the time "Want more power or capability? Buy our Tundra"

I just purchased a 2015 Tacoma AC 4x4. I hope to have it a loooong time. The longest I have ever kept a truck was 18 years and the shortest period was 6 months. I really hope this is a keeper and no major issues develop.

I would consider a trade for a larger truck if I need it some day, or a diesel in future models if I have the cash for an upgrade. The Frontier with a Cummins is pretty tempting but not tempting enough. If the Tacoma comes out with a good diesel that may do it.
