Put this on my thread and the survivalist thread but WTF, I'll put it here too:
I started cleaning out the cab of my truck and reorganizing. After 8 or 9 years you accumulate a lot of crap. I'll work on the tool boxes later.

Here's the truck


So today I emptied the cab and steam cleaned the interior after last weeks camping/wheeling disaster. 200k on the truck so its still pretty rough, but better than it was. Here's what came out


Here's what went back in

Center console organizer. Multitool, knife, winch controllers, safety glasses, gloves, pens, sharpies, lighter, batteries etc

.22 truck gun I picked up for $60. Its in "kit" form made from an old ACU leg. In the kit is the rifle, 22ammo in grizzly cans, a cheap knife, flashlight, 550, magnesium block, jute twine, candle and batteries. The rifle also has a sling


NFA paperwork copies for my suppressors and SBR


Covered with nonslip foam mat for the mutt to sit on


Under the fold down seats
Bottle jack tall enough to lift my truck. This will be awesome when I get OBA

Other side has cables and a flashlight. These batteries are actually made up of 36 AA batteries. So in an emergency you can open it up and snag them


Driver door pocket: convexed Swamprat Chopweiller, multitool, sharpener, lighter, battery pack and antenna for my CB

Passenger rear door "shit kit":wipes, to, shovel, headlamp lighter, lighter, fire starters


Clipped to the passenger seat. Two hats. Very important when you're bald


Clipped to the driver seat is my GHB


Sitting behind it is my first aid kit.

Plugged into the power outlets is my CB and phone charger


That's pretty much it. If there's enough interest I'll go over the first aide and GHBs.

Just out of curiosity and how well my bag is what's in your first aid kit

 

I'll get it out and ho through it later tonight. I've used some contents and need to look at it anyhow

 

I need to go through mine. I bought one of those shtf bags where you can survive 4 people for a week out of or something rediculous and it has a first aid kit in it. I've used some out of it because cuts and burns are very common in my line of work lol. But it's not the best first aid kit

 

Mines mostly stuff I acquired from various jobs.

 

arnt you also in the medical field? i bet you've got access to great stuff for your first aid kit

 

also whats the laws in sc for carrying your rifle? I've got a similarly sized .22 and i like the idea of keeping it in my truck just in case

I figured you'd be shooting from the hip since you got a new one! Jk, I almost blasted my face with one of those shooting it for the first time, Fun times.

 

Loved it. Glad to get it off my bucket list.
And yea, I did have some trouble today with the hip. I think it just kinda took its toll with all the sudden "Jolting" from AR's, my AUG and this hand cannon.
Good times though. Think i'm on 6 weeks since surgery and pretty much walking around like it never happened. Then the limp sets in towards the end of the day.

Edit: My gram (90 yrs young) calls it my pimp walk. lol.

 

Keep up those hip strengthening exercises and you'll be good my man! Your precautions will be gone in no time!

 

Don't know, don't care. I have my CWP. You'd have to look it up but I'm pretty sure you'd be fine

 

Think it's the same as handguns. Ammo and rifle have to be seperate and out of reach.
