Well I was under the impression that the 285/75R16 made your speedo read slower than OEM but the 4.10 gears make it read faster then OEM so it would even it out and make your gauge cluster read correct.

    Am I wrong?

It's no biggie either way since I have the UG but I guess I assumed wrong.

Edit: OH! And incase anyone is ever interstsed in doing the ECGS clamshell swap there is an important step that was not discussed anywhere that we could find. There is a small gear in the OEM housing that neds to be popped out of and put back into the new housing from ECGS. We should have taken a picture of it while we had it out but we were too frusted to think about it. It was a PITA to get out but in the end Mike just used a screw driver on each side and LOTS of pressure to pop it out of place.

    Hey Guys,

I have ran into a little issue installing my new stereo… I ordered the JL audio stealth box for the 2012 and up. Turns out somehow my '14 has the wrong shaped storage bin.

Would any of you have one the looks like the picture below laying around that you would be willing to sell? I would also be will to swap bins with someone with some cash on top for your trouble. Thank you in advance guys.

This is what I need (it has the side curved vs straight:

This is the bin I have to trade (brand new on my '14 with 7k):

you can see how the sub doesn't fit right...

I'll check mine when I get off work but what area of WA are you in? Mine is probably not as good of condition as you'd want anyways.

I'll let you guys know when I get home.

The only difference is the shape of the tray... I have no idea why toyota did this. Snoqualmie pass would be perfect, it's only about 40 minutes away for me. It only takes 10 mins to pull if that. What time are you meeting up there?

I have 285/75R16 Pro Comp Xtreme All Terrain tires.

These are Estimations because I could not look at the GC and UG at the exact same time:
    Guage Cluster = Ultra Guage
    MPH / RPM

    60 / 2100 = 70 / 2118
    70 / 2500 = 81 / 2537

Had a spur of the moment trip up to FS Road 62 outside of Gold bar with a friend. Did some trap shooting and a bit of wheeling.

Got bored while waiting for my friend to go back and get his sunglasses from where we were shooting. I think its almost as much flex as rctoy ;)

Wouldn't a little wet weather make it more challenging?

Not concerned about that aspect, I plan on camping so it'd be nice if it was dry.

Regearing should not change your tachometer. That is measuring directly off the motor, not the wheels or transmission.

Maybe, not likely, but there is a chance. Will have to talk to wifey and see if I can come up with extra gas money to go out and play.

So far its Me, Cgredler, ProPhaze, GSPRunner (weather dependent), and Butcher. I may have a friend coming but not sure yet. Friday is a little rain but Saturday and Sunday are low 70's and sun.

Prophaze and Butcher: Do you plan on camping with us?

    Thanks Joe!
