2012-2015 "Ghost Raptor" mesh kit.

I am not going to post close-up photos, but from opening the dremel to the photo being taken here, approximately 2 hours. The kit was amazingly intuitive once you get started. I still need to finish the edges around and clean up the corners, but I am saving that for a weekend project. I refuse to drive around without a front grille

Just wondering what gauge these are made in? I remember reading a while back that you had to drop down to a thinner gauge to emboss the TRD into the grill on your sig pic... If I remember right was around 0.032" with a backer reinforcement to stiffen it up again.

Also curious how hard it is to keep these clean in summer? I'm thinking along the lines of not having it look like black metallic bug splatter lol. Love the grills and as far as I can see it is the best option out for the '12+ models!

My standard is .063 and in the past I was using .032 for the embossed grills. Now I'm using M4 in .051 which IMO is just right for this application.

The powdercoated finish is very durable and will take as much effort to keep clean as anything else that is on the front of the truck.

Thank you for the kind words - I put a lot of time into getting this right before I began production.

 

Are you going to start a new/separate list for the bumper insert? I was one of the first shipments and would hate to miss out on the lower insert if the list started from the current position.

 

No list for these - they are relatively easy to make so it's not necessary really.

 

How do I order the bumper insert homer?

 

I expect the mesh back either Thursday or Friday of this week. All paid orders will ship on 9/29. I just sent a PM to 8 additional folks on the list as I made a boatload of these to stay as close to a month lead time as possible.
