I agree with Homer. I removed the front piece of padding from the boot.

That's a good idea Sam. I may do the same and add the insulation too! I've totally gotten used to the gear noise now tho so it might be weird if it gets quiet  haha

Shit. Lost a bolt in the shifter today. I didn't use a torque wrench but I figured I had atleast 40. Gonna use thread lock, off-roading may not be too good for them. Upside I know what the click was.

Threadlock is a good idea. I almost lost the shift stick one day. So what do you think the click is?

That's crazy. wish I were some what closer. Try shifting back and forth firmly from 3rd to 4th. Sounds like they put extra sealant on yours.

Ill give that a try. Even the 4 bolts had a decent amount on them too.

I've got mine installed for about 2 months now, within the last 2 weeks, i've heard the "click" when in gear 4 & 6 and it's getting louder and louder. Also the play seems to be greater as well... It's making me nervous, gonna check the bolts now...

Put some threadlock on while you're in there.

That's how much treadlock I put on mine. lol. Mine hasn't backed out at all since the install.

yeah! i only used threadlocker on the 4 bolts for the assembly, but torque the crap out of the 2 bolts for the stick. i guess that wasn't enough. The top bolt was tight but the bottom one was almost all the way out. I put some threadlocker on now, hopefully it'll stay in. 2 days gone by and so far so good!

Seriously considering this upgrade. Can anyone post a quick video of them shifting around?

So it finally warmed up enough for me to try the install again... bugger is finally on!!! The only thing i dont like is the leather boot is really right when shifting into 1st 3rd and 5th.

Ill try to get a video of it shifting AHeppner.

Small lift, not sure what kind.. Bull bar, n-fab step bars, undercover bed cover, led interior lights, Flyzeye lights.
My boot was tight so I raised it up some and it helped, my shifter also hits the console in the upper gears, I spoke to Chris about it and he is designing a spacer to move the shifter back a few inches to help with that, it's a common problem with some of the mustangs as well.

I removed some of the insulation like mentioned abover and it helped out some. Shifter still hits but it feels better, if a spacer is available to move it back ill defiently get it. Keep us posted on that.
