    Posted this in first gen thread also.

    Just seeing what some of yall might think.

    hey guys I looked up under the truck the other day to replace the lower idler pulley that had gone bad, and noticed a slight leak from behind crank pulley never noticing it before I noted it and went ahead and replaced the idler pulley. The next day I went to put skid plate back on and the truck was dripping from behind the crank pulley. Question is would the crank seal leak that severely and go bad that quickly(from just residue to a drip in one day)? Or could It be the oil pump seal causing such a leak? I have the crank seal out at this point just seeing what you all might think before I go further.

    I have a few mods
    woot!!! I got to test my winch out today, freakin awesome!

    and I wasnt going relocate the solenoid since it fit perfectly in the bumper. so what I did was cut a small hole in the grill so I can plug the controller in without having to remove the grille to plug it in, I like how it works.

    Good thing it wasn't a 4wd issue. But all jokes aside, do you know why a compression fitting would keep backing itself off? I threw lock tight on it yesterday and it's fine today it seems but it's weird that the nut keeps backing off.

    Driving in Winter Springs this evening, came to a stop light and a nicely built FJ approached the intersection. Did a triple take on my truck. He proceeded, as I turned on my blinker for a gas station he quickly turned in ahead of me. Came in just to look at my truck and talk for a minute. Really nice guy, 3" coil over suspension, SC, method wheels, snorkel, and so on. Wish I would have gotten a pic of it though. Apparently he's new to the area but thinks he may know seabass. Told him about citrus, gonna try to get him to come wheel with us.
