Neither would I, and I wouldn't care. This is the only PM he sent to me after he locked the thread, and I asked what rule I broke.

I haven't broken a written rule. All I've done is respond to those questioning why the thread was locked, and responding to those who have sent me hate mail VIA PMs and neg-rep comments.

Again, as I've said before, he pointed me out as the reason the thread was locked. I didn't break a rule of this forum prior to the thread being locked. I haven't broken a rule by saying that Tigerfan00 overreacted, I also haven't broken a rule about another poster saying WOULD, WOULDN'T, WOULDN'T, WOULD to your post, Sean. That poster wasn't warned, the thread wasn't closed, and the post wasn't edited to remove WOULD.

He said the same thing I did. ME saying it isn't okay, someone else can say it no problem. This is a problem with me? Not from my perspective, and nobody has told me what the difference is between that poster using WOULD and myself using WOULD. The difference, only, is that he was replying to a mod in a thread that isn't on thin ice.

If saying WOULD isn't allowed, then it isn't allowed, right? So tell me, why is it different when I say it? Or is it true that the WTF thread was problematic and had little to do with me posting WOULD that got it closed.

All I'm seeking is clarification of this supposed rule, and why I can't say something everyone else can. If I am allowed to post the same as anybody else, then I shouldn't be blamed for having a thread closed by a mod.

We have posted, closed, infracted, posted closed and repeated over and over about the whole would issue

The problem is not in the word itself, but rather people's inability to stop the discussion there. It spirals downward into discussions that make penthouse forum seem tame. It was posted specifically for those 2 threads.

After the 3rd or 4th warning we have to make our point since people seem to ignore everything else.

I'm also quite frankly tired of hearing about it and all the whining in every thread about it. I could have banned you, Peerunner, because that's what previously was threatened.

I handled it the way I did because the point needed to be made. Period.

    Pretty much my point.

I got in trouble for saying something another member said without any problems whatsoever, and he said it to a mod. I didn't.

Why is there a difference in what is allowed? If I broke a rule, show it to me. If I can't call out Tigerfan's decision to specifically point me out when he locks a thread, show me a rule where that isn't allowed?

I haven't called him names, or been derogatory towards him, or broken any TW rule against behavior in regards to Tigerfan, yet now I'm being threatened with a ban?

How bout you just stop saying "would", quit talking about why you should or shouldn't be able to say "would", and move on already? :)

I think it has to do with the two threads being the most viewed on this site. The WTF thread and the Funny pics thread usually have high numbers of viewers therefore they are the example

I would also like to point out that in the code of conduct there is a part about moderator discretion for things not specifically covered

And it's what I asked for in lieu of thread closure, because I went totally out my way to make it clear to you that I had no clue saying WOULD would result in trouble and the thread being closed. I asked to edit my post and have the thread re-opened, or to have my post deleted, or for you to do either of those on your own to avoid thread closure. That wasn't fielded in any form, nor replied to.

I never saw a warning about using "WOULD" in that thread, because I didn't read it every 5 minutes. It was a misunderstanding on my part, yet you chose to single me out in the final post like I am solely responsible for you clicking the lock button, and that isn't the case as shown by the only PM I've received from you.

I don't care if the thread is closed, but you went out of your way to make me be the only reason that WTF was locked permanently and THAT isn't legitimate.

And how exactly would banning you like you asked get the point across?

Also, we don't need this on the main page either, so Peerunner feel free to start a thread in the chat with staff section.

Maybe threads like this could be set to be accessible by registered members only?
