haven't read all the replies, but I had to weld my bumpstops on the top of my allpro plates.

allpro was supposed to offer a flip kit that incorporated the timbrens.. they might have decided to continue their LT/desert route and dropped the project?

yea not sure if you've got it figured out. i did the flip kit but retained the factory bumpstops.. i just tack welded the bumpstocks to the top of the ubolt plate.. works like a charm and was super simple.

as far as installing them. you can do it without jacking the truck up but MAKE SURE YOUR ON LEVEL GROUND AND BLOCK THE FRONT TIRES SO IT CANT MOVE!!!!! then you should be able to just pull the stock hardware off and bolt on the new stuff since your not doing leafs right now.

I'm pretty sure I've got it figured out, all but the torque specs. Need to search more for that i guess...

Didn't you have rubbing issues after your shackle flip (maybe your wheels hit your fenders at full compression) and you had to 'shim' them to the center of the wheel well? I figured the timbren's would keep me from having rubbing issues like you had.

Free REP to the first person with correct torque values (I'm a REP whore I guess :D ). Does the REP go to hedlesbrmstkbass???

Torque the U Bolt nuts to 75 ft lbs. The figure in the FSM is incorrect. Check the torque again after about 300 miles of driving.

yea i used to rub the front of the fender flare.. but that was before the shackle flip.... just due to alot of flex and a big ol tire i guess... for some reason mine seems to be able to stuff the tire a bit more than some others.. all has to do with the specific setup i guess. even right now i can stuff the rear tire enough that the top begins to disappear behind the fender....

Wow those Timbren's look extreme small... I thought they would be bigger then that.... I thought they would be some what the same size as an air bag setup.

they are taller then the stock bump stops with a softer compound to help reduce the effects of a harsh bottom out

Well that sucks, I was kinda hoping that they would be a little bigger then that.. Everything else I have seem they are bigger, but your pic tells the truth. I would have got them instead of gettin rear ride rite bags since the timbrens have lifetime warranty and need no maintaince. As well the timbrens are cheaper..

you can contact customer support at Timbren, tell em what you need/expect from a bump stop and they can set you up with something taller/beefier and with different compounds. their customer service is great i hear..

what All Pro offers suits it's purpose just fine for the average Joe, but if you are looking for something for more of a load carrying bump stop then defiantly contact Timbren

i love these Fox's..been through hell so far and a havn't had any issues. feel great on the rocks and i don't feel any shock fade when pre running through the desert. the thing i like the most is they are adjustable..each click makes a huge difference making pretty tunable on the fly..pretty badass!
