One day driving home in a rain I decided to back into my drive way.
I had a Ford (P.O.S.) Ranger with a manual trans.

I was in a hurry to get inside before the rain got worse.
I put the truck into neutral and set the e brake and jumped out.
Where I parked there is a slight grade down to the house.

About five minutes later I hear a bang, go running outside
and the truck has rolled into the house, not sure why.
I check the e brake and see that I didn't push it all the way down.

When I was 16 (maybe 17), I hooked my trailer up with the chains on it and sitting on the ball and pulled it out of its parking spot to put a mower on it. Forgot to latch the hitch and up it came when I drove on, pivoted on the chains and raked up and down my tailgate....ouch

I have remote start and out of habit I sometimes still turn the key too far while the truck is already running.

Most of the stuff I do is user error :anonymous: Like once I was sitting in my truck on the phone playing with my window. After I hung up I started freaking out wondering why my window no longer would roll back up. So started checking fuses but my retarded self hit the window lock  Same thing with the dash light dimmer

Was not aware that the plastic top on optima red tops is actually a spacer to get the battery raised properly. For 2 years (mild wheeling) I ran it pretty much just sitting with very little pressure from the battery hold down.
Got into a gnarly situation a few weeks back and had to speed thru some pretty bad gulches. Everything was fine except a week later I took an easy right hand turn, lost all power and started a small fire in the engine bay where 3 major ground wires completely burnt, one completely in half touching my winch power cable.
Needless to say, tow to the steelership, rental for a week and $400.

When I was 16 I thought it would be cool to Armor-All both of my motorcycle tires.....even the tread. Next morning, fresh dew on the roads, never made it thru the first corner.

I once had a Honda Nighthawk and was quite proud about taking really good care of it. When the seat looked like it was getting sort of dull I gave it a good coat of Armor-All. The next time I rode it I slid right off the back of the seat the very first time I twisted the accelerator.

Eating lunch in my old 94 Nissan D21 5-speed. Parked on a slight incline, got out real quick for some reason (forgot ebrake & not in gear). Noticed it rolling slowly backwards, driver door open. I tried to hop back in but there was a yellow railing blocking me because it had moved a couple feet. Door hung up on the metal railing and was about to rip off, finally my coworker in the passenger seat pulled the ebrake just in time! Needless to say, the door was never quite the same!!

Thinking a 75hp shot of nitrous was a good idea on a car that came stock with 100hp.

Several years ago I had a 951, it was my track day car but I would drive it around on occasion. The parking brake didn't work anymore so I would just leave it in 1st. One morning I came out side in found it was parked infront of my neighbor's house partly in the yard. My guess was some one pushed it to be funny. There were lots of middle school aged kids around, and it was up hill slightly so i know it didnt roll. Later that day i drove to my parents house and parked in their drive, also up hill, and went to a football game. When we got back my sweet little Porsche was in their garage pushed up against the work bench. It had gone through the door and scrached up all the nice Gaurds red paint.

Turns out a heater hose was leaking onto the starter and some how cranking it over. And having parked in gear, it was going for short drives on its own.

That week, new hose, new door and house paint, and more used now flat black 951.

I Was getting gas once before you could pay at pump. I was sick had taken some cold medicine started pump went into pay. After paying jumped into car felt a tug and saw the guy on other side jump on ground. I forgot to take out the pump and it pulled like a rubber band then broke the pump nozzle right off. Worst part was I worked at the store. Oops!

Ummm, I think I win. Never had the TSB for frame treatment done on my '04, and when it did this it was not covered due to my stupidity. Truck was a loss.

This truck in beautiful shape, running flawlessly...

...looked like this underneath and was not covered due to my dumb mistake of ignoring the TSB:

    End thread.

Let the trucks battery die and we were in the middle of nowhere. We decided to push the truck down hill to bump start it but we had to get the truck over a small hump first.

I'm working the pedals and pushing with my GF. We were letting it roll back to give it a running start and I hit the brakes too soon and the bumper is right into the tent and the back wheel is already on the tent. Thankfully a nice guy happened to drive by and give us a jump and we all had a good laugh but goddamn was that stupid

Drilled a hole in the bed for my bed light switch and punched through and left a negative dent on the bed side sheet metal.

Swapped front brake pads on a Chevelle I used to have. When I was done, I started the engine and was pulling it back into the garage. It wouldn't stop and ended up slamming into the far wall head on. I forgot to pump the brakes before I put it in drive.
