They both look to be slight angles wrong, should be able to just grab it and straighten it out, likely turned when you clipped the ballasts on

The passenger side is perfectly straight, i think i just took a crooked picture. The one that has an oblivious angle (driver) was the headlight i had the most trouble with, ill try grabbing and rotating the ballasts tomorrow. Thanks for the input.

Andrew - The square D2S projectors look cool; they might work well with rectangular headlights. Do you have any pictures of a retrofit using them? Thanks!

Quick question (not PM'ing due to Andrew's new sig line under his name). I plan on going with the mini D2S w/the outer halo ring. Couple questions:
    1) Are most of you wiring to DTRLs or straight to power so its on at ignition?

    2) I saw this set up and thought it looked amazing (pic below) - is this just double halos (one in front and one behind the shroud) and do you think they are just wired together then run to the power source?

    Thanks for any help!

Just messing around with an old spare housing I have laying around. These apollo 2.0 square shrouds fit 3rd gen 4 runner housings like a glove. May still have to trim a bit but overall its like they were designed around them!! Can't wait till I have time to install them. Couldn't be happier!!!

That is the same setup I've been looking at. I think the square projector looks great in the rectangular housing. A picture is worth a thousand words! Many thanks Jab08.

Your welcome!! I haven't really done any serious searching but so far I haven't found any pictures of the square projectors in a 3rd gen runner. So be assured I will be taking many many many pictures!! The new D2S 3.0 design is in all honesty incomparable to the older version. It is amazing how much of an improvement these are over the older design! Hats off to TRS!!

Thanks for the responses. I have the DTRL on my first click (which doubles as the front blinkers), the second click is just your usual running lights (includes DTRL/Blinker Light and the corner light). Both are amber, and I want the White halos.

I just feel it will look stupid to have the amber DTRLs on with the white halos. I was thinking of possible tapping into my fogs (which will be morimoto soon) and doing the anytime fog light mod. Then I would have the halos on with the fog switch. But I'm wondering if maybe there is a better way to wire the halos w/o having to have the amber DTRLs on.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

I wired my amber halos in with the DTRLs. I really don't think they are bright enough to really see in the daytime. I think wiring them in with the fog lights would be better. Don't you have the fog light button to the left of your wheel? What is an anytime fog light mod?

Yes I have the fog light button, but the factory wires the fogs to only come on when your low beams are on. There is a mod on here to do a quick re-wire (if you'd even call it that b/c its so simple) and allows you to have the fogs on whenever you want just by pressing the button, no need for low beams to be on anymore.

I'm leaning going this route so that the fogs and halos would be on at the same time. But I'm still open to any other ideas from all the TW geniuses out there, of which I am not.

cant believe that no HID/xenon option is available for these trucks.
