I'm definitely with JDAM on this one. CO2 might be quick and great in the situation of air up but I would not at all say it's "better than an air compressor". I have my air tank full nearly all the time to run tools, semi horn, air up/down and eventually for air bags. CO2 would not be a good option for someone like me.

I'll probably bring my pistol, and more ammo this time, I need to keep getting in as much target practice as possible.
I like the idea of having an air compressor so I don't run out of air. And refilling co2 seems like it could get to be a pain

I am a maybe, and also coming from the east.

There is camping just across the river on the way north after you get past the lake. They are no longer paid spots. I have been part of a camping group that has been going to the same spot for over 20 years. We always camped off the first bridge, about 7 or 8 miles north of the lake (at least I think it was that far), take tubes down the river from the second bridge, or occasionally go and jump off the third bridge then tube down.

I ran my last set of tires (factory 245/75/16) at 40 full time. Haven't looked at my current set to see pressure since they were mounted a couple months ago, but they did well for my bringing 3000 lbs of hay home. For a compressor, I got the harbor freight cheap one. It would fill all 4 tires before it needed a break to cool down. It cost about $60. For a lot of wheeling, or inflating big tires, look for something better. Will (penguin_cc) got one that is 100% duty rated! meaning clamp on, and turn it on for as long as you need it! whether it is 15 minutes or 3 days straight. I think he said it was about $100 on Amazon

Another successful mod day over at BoatRacer's (Mike) awesome place yesterday - Brady got his shock noise issue chased down (new top hat assembly) and I finally got mah lift installed. Huge thanks to Mike (for hosting, making me new center pins, and being an awesome guy) and to Brady for all the helps. My truck rides great and looks badass.

I think we spent about 5 hours doing all 4 corners of my truck, had to disassemble the old stuff to re-use the top hats.

That is true it depends on how much you use it. For air bags and tires its great (we take it on trips in our superduty for its airbags) but for semi horn and if you use a lot of tools off of it then it isn't.

Depends on how much you use it.

    Got you on the list

    I'd say I had a little problem.

Thanks again Mike for letting us use your place, and all the help!

WTF did you do to that poor top hat Brady? Looks like you tried to drill another hole for an offset spring mount.

It was tight. Long story on this. Goes back 2 years to the first place I had put them together. I'll be getting the iron man adjustables when they come out and I have the cash.

FWIW - I've had a lot better experience at Lake City Toyota than Michaels.

Just need some new tires for these 17s. Also, please keep a look out for a 1st gen tundra/sequoia split 5 17" wheel. Want one for a spare.
