Hey fellas anyone interested in a smith and wesson m&p shield 9mm? It is unfired but has been carried in a holster for about 3 months.

 

Tires and alignment done today. Love how it came out. I will put up more pics later when I get out of work.

 

anyone looking for a bike or know anyone that is? its a 2000 vt1100. asking 3500 or open to trades. runs great, nothing wrong with it.

 

Any of the Rio Rancho area guys thing they can do me a favor.. I am not to savy when it comes to working on the truck.. I know how to change my oil and tires if I needed to.

but I am getting some wheel vibration when driving and some serious shakes when apply the brakes and having to slow down quickly.. I have had suggestions that the brakes or rotors may be bad..

What I want to know is if someone can help me to check them I dont want to just go into the mechanic and be like I dont know whats wrong and then get uneeded stuff done..

If someone is willing to help fix the problem I am more than happy to compensate them if it will save me some money from the local mechanic or stealership

 

Nothing I can do form here, but it sure sounds like wheel balancing and rotors. Wherever you bought your tires from should re-balance them for free, and brake shops may give you a free quote. If you haven't had your brakes done in awhile then you need to get them (pads) checked and replaced anyway. While they are at it they can turn the rotors if it is needed.

 

I bought the truck a month ago used from one of those random used car lots

 

Where at in RR do u live? I'm in Rivers Edge II I'm free most days to take a look and a drive to diagnose the problem. Then we can take it from there...

you could check your carrier bearing. thats what was wrong with mine. i didn't fix mine but when they changed it out it helped. but super easy fix.

still much to do and have to get the URD 7th Inj kit but the S/C unit is in da house!

Going with the 2.2" URD pulley which, from what I've read, puts the crank output around 300HP.

 

Doctor Scott (Sgt Taco) stopped by and gave me a full diagnosis... Now to order some parts and with some help get it all back to health

Waiting until next month to get the 7th Injector kit than I'm doing the install. Going to be interesting with a MT and the lighter weight of an extra cab. Somewhere in here, I'd like to see how it compares with Nick's 4Runner with the heavier weight he's pulling.

The amount of interest piqued on FB, I'm going to have a line of folks wanting to test drive it. Probably should've sucked it up and done it a year or two ago but now is better than never.
