I just want to see the output, I'm hoping for a bit more distance.

I won't post pic's of the output. ALL pic's of headlight output are misleading. I will try to give the best comparison to the 35W version that I can give though.

that all I'm really hoping for, really just to see if you feel that these have a better distance than the originals. I love the output on them but I feel they don't go as far as the halogens.

I'm a little bummed out about that as well. I'd like 4700K ideally, but it ain't gonna happen.

The 35W lights are rated at 5000K, but I felt they were a little cooler than that, so hopefully the 70W lights will be about the same.

The 4700K HID's on my Audi are slightly yellow compared to the 35W LED's, but they penetrate to the end of the earth.

We were all new guys at one time. We're not bashing, just having a little fun. :)

You will notice that there are some people on here who use really bad spelling and grammar, and of course there are the sort who point those deficiencies out.

In any case, welcome to TW. :D

Im going to try this weekend.
Photos themselves won't prove because you can fake it out with camera adjustments. Instead I plan on having cones set out and reporting the maximum observed distance.

Even with the cones, you'll need to use a camera with manual exposure control.

I'm going to do the photos just for posterity, but really I'm going to have one guy in the truck and the other moving the cone out. Same guy will sit in both trucks.

Ballast free, fan free = flicker free, plug and play headlights ^^^

Had them on mine for a good while now. They have been nothing short of great. The longer I run them, the more I like them.

The exposed wires on the LED driver and the brights shroud don't give me much confidence but I'd like to see a side by side.

I think you forgot the point where you need a large format film camera so you don't worry about digital aberrations. Of course, all viewers will need a professionally adjusted 4k display monitor or access to original prints. Don't forget optimal color-corrected lights in the home.

Access to the prints will cost about $5,000 + cost of access to said field + optional shipping of prints for the first 5 viewers so I can get started with the proper gear. Prices decrease as additional viewers sign up.

    :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Personally I wouldn't want to waste the time if it really came to that

    The 70W lights arrived this morning (35W x 2).

These come with a fault code canceller.

eBay. There is a seller based out of AZ that ships it to you In about 3 days tops. I enjoy them so much I even got a low and high set of bulbs for my motorcycle.

    What "exposed" wires?

I posted a thread up on these a long time ago and everyone was being a naysayer about it. Just like they were on these headlights.
