    I have 1" and 2" stock. The 1" material is anywhere from 6-8" wide and the 2" stock is around 12" wide. The boards are 6-8' long. I'm headed to the house this weekend to do an inventory of the stuff I have in my container.

    The folks will be moving soon so I won't have anywhere to keep my 40' container. :D

    Edit:

    I also have a bunch of 2x6 pine that has a really dense grain. I salvaged it out of a garage/barn a few years ago. I'm guessing the garage was 40-60 years old.

    It's one of those things I stashed away telling myself that I'd make something with it some day. Guess that's not gonna happen.

    Too bad I didn't post about it earlier. I'm going to take one piece and surface plane it to see what it looks like. It's gray and weather beaten at the moment.
