FYI for all you guys, as of july, Anyone that is can legally own a hand gun in TN(which i think is 18+, which is kinda stupid since you have to be 21+ to buy them and buy ammo) can have a loaded gun INSIDE the truck without a carry permit, can’t leave truck loaded unless on privet property. All the same laws apply to how you can use it as before when you had to have a permit.


If you plain on having one with you read up on the laws so you don’t get in any legal trouble because i wont be responsible if you do.

You can always just use a hammer. No need for loaded gun in truck. No stupid "weapon" laws to worry about. A "tactical" or "assault" hammer might raise concerns though so don't paint it black.

Or you could just be responsible and get a cc permit? I don't even carry mine anymore because what's the point? Almost every restaurant or business I go into has a big ass no firearms policy on their doors.

 

if it’s concealed how are they going to know you have it? Also even if they do see you have it they can ask you to leave if you don’t voluntarily leave when asked they can only charge you with trespassing.

Adam, did you have to buy the bolts and stuff to mount it or are all the bolts already on the truck?

I do not shop or eat at most places that I can not carry in. It's their right to request a no carry zone and it's my right to decide where I want to eat at. I carry since I have had my license.

Bolts should have came with it the lower mounting bolts.

And I can already tell by looking at that pic but the pass side is going to stick out further from the truck than drivers side. See how drivers side is tucked in closer to that hoop and pass side is sticking out further.

 

Great, Fastenal didn't have anything with the bumper. Gotta contact Eddy I guess.
and I noticed that earlier, Hopefully it's not too noticeable once I have it on the truck.

Well if Fastenal ends up actually having the hardware then probably one day this week or weekend. or if I can get the bolt length and thread pitch/pattern from Eddy then I'll just go buy the hardware. Do you think you could help? ha. I just wanna make sure that I don't get hung up on something.

 

Yeah I don't mind helping. can meet me at lowes tomorrow and we can figure out the hardware.

 

What time and which Lowes? I'm in class 12:45-3:30.

 

Whatever time. And where do you live? Do you have tools to get the front bumper on? If so whatever lowes is closest to your house and we'll just put it on then.
