Thanks man! I actually had 35x12.50R18 Nitto Trail Grappler's before these which weighed in at 120 lbs per tire/wheel. The weight difference is insane, haven't weighed one of my new wheels yet though. Easy 30lbs lighter.... I am willing to bet those 285s are about the same weight as these 35s. Haven't had them offroad besides some loose sand, so far they are awesome. No more wheeling for me until I get back from deployment.

I take that as a compliment, it's not copying it's just learning the way ahead from others. I'd be a liar if I didn't base a lot of my mods off some of my favorite tried and trail proven builds like Mcgrimms, datsik, defconbrix, spoonman, DaveEli, Slimwood and everyone on this forum. Tons of badass capable rigs and great ideas!

Aaron...that's exactly what I meant!..:) Copying sounds like stealing and I'm not sure it's a proper form of flattery. The ideas on this forum are amazing in helping you decide what to build and honestly though...your Taco is my fav so far. Maybe because you had the Monsters initially and that's why I liked it so much...lol I had those on my truck before I saw your thread, but that's what drew me towards your build when I found it..:D As much as I like the Monsters and the way they look, they're so freaking heavy though and that's why I think I'll go methods in the future. Yours look badass:cool: Keep up the good work brother!!...

So how hard is it looking at the truck somedays when since you lowered it from 6" to 3". I keep kicking myself daily but know it's going to be ok when the 35's go on.

I love it! Truck looks much better with 35s and less fender gap and no drop bracket hanging off the front. I'm at less than 3" of lift.

Haven't left yet, I'm on pre-deployment leave. :/ I buffed, polished, sealed and top coated with carnauba before cutting the fender. Haha. Whole trucks getting a spa day before it gets locked up in a storage unit.

Yeah still not happy with the flex tube elbows and stuff. Maybe I'm just particular. Eventually it'll get aluminium and silicone couplers

Always amazed by your truck man. One of the sickest tacos in the area.
