Installed Bullaculla's towing harness bracket. Haven't painted it because I was too excited to get it on the truck! It leaves plenty of room even with a 265/75/16 spare tucked under the truck.

Before (luckily the plug wasn't damaged, just the metal bracket, from off roading and dragging the rear bumper on rocks/dirt berms)

Tried to install an LED 4157 bulb from autozone in my front turn signals, but it blew a fuse out... not entirely sure why. Said it's a error message free bulb, but seems like blowing a fuse counts as an error... Anyone know why it's blowing a fuse? I did the piercedtiger DRL mod (wire from corner lights to turn signals) so would that affect anything?

I drive my old (girlfriends now) 2011 kia forte SX lowered when I run to snoqualmie pass (while the whether stays decent) every other weekend. It feels like a go kart lol, I end up speeding around and taking corners swiftly haha, miss the handling but love my Tacoma.

Not sure how much of a rush you are in but, eventually, when I get a rear plate bumper I will be getting rid of mine. Arty gave it to me for free so you can have it for free when I am done with it.

Yes please! I'm patient! It'll be a couple years (hopefully haha) before I get an aftermarket rear bumper

I need some help. I have a Pioneer AVH 3400 and I want to hook up my rear view camera (stock) to it. My head unit has a purple wire marked camera on the harness, so which wire, color and location, do I tap into to hook my camera to it?

Detailed my engine bay and hooked my map lights to my dome light. Pretty easy mod now I need to get LED's for them.

You might want to look up the specs before you just plug it in since the OEM backup camera runs on a 6v system and for all you know the deck could be supplying 12v power.

You might as well get an after market camera (they are cheap) and sell your OEM one.

The camera wiring system is a pretty difficult one. I am not saying its not possible but I have been trying to get my OEM 2013 camera to work on the OEM 2013 deck I installed in my 2008 with no luck.

    Just me
Scored a Snuglid off craigslist, now I just need to figure out how to mount it. Missing some hardware so maybe I can get the local dealer to supply mounting instructions when I purchase parts...any links to a btdt thread would help.

Lid is pretty scratched up, may need to cover with roll-on bedliner.

Finally! After a long time of measuring, cutting, measuring and cutting again.. I am finished with my custom gu rack, only thing left is to figure a way to hang the guns.. Velcro, quick fists, I don't know. But I thin it looks great!

Could be the mod is drawing current off both the DRL and the fogs, so the draw wattage is higher with both since they are now inline. Is the wattage of the new LED higher than the bulb you replaced? If so, maybe you need a higher capacity fuse.

P.S. Take a break from electrical mods brother...haha You're not having the best of luck lately, but somehow you have always figured it out...:D

Spent about an hour coming up with an plan to build a scuba tank box for the bed of the truck thats low profile and doesn't allow the tanks to roll around and keep them out of direct sun light.
