I haven't used an upholstery place in many years, but I can tell you to avoid Classic Auto on Armenia. The place is a joke and the owner is an absolute ass. Totally messed up on of my cars. The dealership where I purchased the car recommended "Classic" for upholstery and I thought this was the place. Turns out, there was another place by the same name that did all the interior work for the dealerships on Dale Mabry. Not sure if they are still around, but definitely avoid the other place on Armenia.
When my old Ranger blew a hose a few months ago, I met a guy who owns Beach Boy Automotive while waiting for my tow truck. I was stranded at an abandoned gas station and he pulled up asking if I needed a hand. We chatted for a while, then he left, came back and dropped off some bottled water for me (it was hot as hell that day). I though that was incredibly nice of him. I have no clue about his work, but if I ever do need upholstery work I'm going to check him out.

For interior I used Classic soft trim for my leather and moonroof install. Great job and great price.

That's the place! I know most of the car dealerships use them. Can't get a better recommendation. Thanks for posting the info.

Also, was wondering how the roof turned out. Can you get a moon roof on a truck with a corrugated roof?

Been in the Car Biz for 19yrs and both places we have used Classic Soft Trim. We give them a lot of business here, highly recommend

Moonroof turned out great and if you get one get the inalfa 925. No issues at all with the corrugated roof.

I was afraid you would say that. I'm a moon-roof junkie, or at least I was until Classic on Armenia screwed up my car. I'll have to start saving up some cash. Can I ask how much CST charges for the job?

I paid 1k and took a day and half for them to install but was worth every penny.

Did that include the moonroof and motors? Heck, moon roofs are normally a 2-3,000 dollar option. 1K is a bargain.

That was everything moonroof with everything and also them installing a new headliner. Exactly that's why I jumped on it when they quoted me 1k plus comes w a lifetime warranty. After I got the moonroof installed I had them quote me on the custom Katzkin leather, 2 tone, perforated inserts with contrast stitching and only paid 960 for that installed there as well.

Whoa! Those are amazing prices. A few years ago a friend has his leather seats re-dyed (they had faded in the sun) and he paid about the same. That was just to fix a few spots and match the colors. I will have to pay these guys a visit!!!

They do so many cars there for a lot of the dealerships in the area they are able to get great discounts from buying from katzkin direct. Had to wait a week for the kit to be made at Katzkin and then shipped to them but was worth the wait getting exactly what you want.

They are a closely held dealer secret. Which is why I was only told "Classic" when I asked about a good place for sunroof installs. Dealers pay $1,000 for leather seats and then charge you 3,000. They don't like to give up their secret piggy banks. Also bad for me was that Classic on Armenia has spent t many years pretending they are the "classic" that dealers go to for interiors. Now I try to make sure no one makes the same mistake.

Saw the pics on your page, looks awesome. I wonder how they'd work around my sunglass holder on my 2011 since they're a little different (with temp/compass).

Thanks On mine they just cut one of the sun glass holders off the console and molded the headliner around it for a factory like look.

This website is dangerous to look at after getting the paycheck!

Will definitely check them out and have them install the seat covers. Along with a possible moonroof! Hard to get the priorities straight with so many options. Looking like $5k is a sweet amount to save for all these add ons to the Tacoma
