My manual states:

Note: Do not install this amplifier vertically or at an incline. Any installation other than parallel to the vehicle floor, invalidates the warranty.

 

Might want to re-read your manual... from the beginning

It actually says that in reference to stacking the amps

Cool, I guess I read it wrong. I was wondering why they would not make an amp that would allow a user to vertically mount.

I just added a third PDX-4.100 to my boat. I have a PDX-1.1000 powering my IDMAX 12, PDX-4.150 power my tower speakers and PDX-4.100 power my ID XS65s.

Peeps are blown away by the sound.

 

Peeps get soggy on boats. I would not recommend it.

 

I actually prefer my peeps stale... no joke...

 

i'd say go with carpet i think.

 

I'm 95% sure I will, but I can just think of so many other ways to dress up the amp presentation with Vinyl.

But, they're behind the seat, so what does it really matter if they are all blinged out? Or is it "blung out"? Damn dangling participles!

 

Whats the price on the whole set up?
