    Control arm's arrived yesterday.

LED angel eye bulbs have arrived to do the Raptor light grille mod as well (Surprise surprise :D ) ...

Install will commence in about T-minus 5 hours and counting. Let the fun begin. Pics to follow!

Well, it was a long day.. after hours of cursing and sweating the truck is back together and good to go for Pismo!

In this photo, the tire IS jacked off the ground.

    IMAG1126_zps0a3919b7_078a734fb10ef2780a9d2e4d4728f0c202a9cf39.jpg

I know for a fact that I gained some suspension travel and tire clearance as well because when it came time to throw on the tire back on the fronts I was unable to do so unless I jacked it up some more. Where as originally the tires came off at the level I originally jacked it to with some inches of ground clearance to drop them onto.

The ride is SO much different with lowers and uppers. I also believe because the lowers are uniball as well, that I was able to obtain some more free range of turning motion. The tires turn to the sides so much more then they ever did with stock. So much so that my 32's rub on my mudflaps

Here is the new Raptor Grill LED light mod that I did a little while ago. What's the general consensus?? Wired to the DRL's, or to the DRL Anytime fogs circuit??

Need to be wired to the parking lights, the DRL lights are also your turn signals, and will make your raptor lights flash as well depending on which side you wire them too....

Here's how I wired them. I started by tying all the wires in parallel and wired tied them to some small holes I drilled into the back of the grille. This part wasn't difficult, just tedious and time consuming.

    IMAG1134_zps3c1df908_432ab513d13916359d3f9c64aa15e30fe0f8a955.jpg

After that I ran my ground to the body.

    IMAG1141_zps6f9f3587_3b88464f7d9c1a2a17c09717f845b19ab9252849.jpg

Now here came the hard part, just trying to figure out how to wire the power. Initially, I wanted to run it to the DRL only, but the issue with that more then anything was that the DRL uses some kind of funky setup to run, its not just simple power on power off. So I got to thinking, maybe I could just run it with my current DRL fog anytime mod!! Back to wire routing and working I went.

I pulled the secondary fuse box off of the main box, then pulled off the lower cover as well to expose the bottom where the wiring runs to and ran my wire through an open pin which was coincidentally right next to the pin where the power to the DRL anytime runs to.

    IMAG1142_zps77060956_f47184a43d2c355d44e7d3d1b6d6833796f1753e.jpg

    IMAG1143_zps5016baf1_963e77d12bb7e7e8a2fed91bca60f6225b90f333.jpg

I then snipped the wire to length and added a quick disconnect plug to it.

    IMAG1144_zps76b217a5_a52cc758668fd22162bde7c365ec4a6a8af903c7.jpg

Here is where the magic comes from. I took my current DRL anytime relay setup and decided to run a quick disconnect plug from it also. I soldered a loose wire from the one I snipped and this is what I turned out with.

    IMAG1145_zps6938996b_946602d145e262452191b758fc4473c94258acda.jpg

Plugged it all up and it turned out very clean and simple. You cannot even tell there's much of any wiring there outside of stock at all.

    IMAG1146_zps26dea36f_085ac09eb2d77ae4b11a5aa72fa3de968338a9c6.jpg

    IMAG1147_zps79640014_84be67403aaa0eb2d090bf8dc78411034c1a6d0f.jpg

    Final product.

    IMAG1148_zps1594b7ee_bedbfbb90b5e93b0fbc79bf6a3c899e4722b1976.jpg

    IMAG1139_zps2ab40d41_9dd5e7955fa76a997852ade7a8db454affa6897d.jpg

Thinking about it in retrospect, I will need to add a quick disconnector set to the power wire by the grille and maybe to the negative side as well to enable quick disconnections when re-installing and removing the grille.

My Relentless Fab T-case skid (like many others) plagued me with the most annoying rattling exhaust in reverse and at certain RPM's in drive for the longest time! I actually gave up for a while and just decided to live with it as annoying as it sounded, but today I got an itch to do something about it, so I started looking at polyurethane exhaust hangers to combat that, after a while I got to thinking to myself, why not just take a different approach to fight the stupid rattle?

    The cheap, yet effective solution:

    IMAG1155_zpsd7b1a7c2_26a189eaa1e6c159bb9841861efb39b33fb63e51.jpg

    IMAG1156_zps962903bb_49aa204a41804ea24572ead2b6fff24b74a67e3f.jpg

Alternatively, you can also use radiator hose clamps on them, as they would be much stronger, but honestly, these work just perfectly! :)

Well, close to three years into ownership. This finally happened. Thanks to this dick off I can now no longer drive my beloved truck. :'(

This is why I'd rather be wheeling then out on the road next to dumbasses. This was right in front of my damn house, I was standing right at it when it happened, I wasn't even moving!!

Those are the links. The bar is in the backyard and the front outer boots are now scrapped because the bar banged on them during the Pismo trip.

Just as an update, this accident may have been a blessing in disguise. What I will end up doing is having the fenders redone to Glassworks Baja fenders, and take the extra money I'll get from this and buy air bumps for the rear end.

Lol..yes they are. These have a real carbon fiber insert in them.

I need better bottom out protection in the rear. The poly bumps performed exceptional at Pismo over a lot of the terrain I went through, but in the end proved to be not up to par on some of the really hard bottom outs I would go through. They were still insanely smooth regardless though, but I could feel the bottom outs.

You know your bumper won't line up, or could interfere with the glasswork fenders?
