Why does everyone refer to 265's as "stock?" Mine came with 245's. Even the door jam sticker lists: 245/70/16. Is this because it's a prerunner? BTW--I can drive well over 400 miles on a tank.

I hope that is what he was saying... I was just trying to point out that 4.10 gears would return the factory "gear ratio/tire diameter" for the speedometer and gas mileage calculations.

    3.73/x=30.6/33

x then equals 4.02. So a 4.10 gear would give a little extra "gear" to overcome the larger tires weight.

i drive both hwy and city...

I'm in las vegas...so there are tons of cars, tons of lights...and ever more dumb drivers...LOL...

when on the highway I drive between 65-70 depending on the mood I'm in...on the city streets I just drive speed limit...its mostly 45 around here on the major streets...

i have a SGII and can monitor my miles per gallon...this has helped me conserve gas a lot more...
