I saw a video on Engadget where the same guy takes a note 3 and does the exact same test. It came out unfazed.

So what's a good case for the iPhone 6? We're giving one to my stepson for his birthday. He's a plumber and a bit rough so it should be tough. I have an otterbox commuter on my phone. Probably something along that line.

I believe they came out with the OtterBox Defender case which is supposed to be stronger. My phone comes in tomorrow, I preordered through verizon the next morning that preorders were available and they said it wouldn't be here until Oct 7. Guess I should be happy its coming in a week early.

Lifeproof needs to come out with a case soon. I have the 6 and I am now scared to put too much pressure on it. It seems like the 6 plus bends easier than the 6 from what I read though. All it says is coming soon on their site does anyone know an approximate date for lifeproof?

Lifeproof cases are annoying. I would never buy one. I have a simple bumper case on my 5s and I drop it all the time and haven't broke it. I'm a welder so my phone is exposed to harsh environments. I wouldn't get crazy about a case, something simple will do the trick.

I don't know why everyone is freaking out about the iPhones bending, I can't think of a situation where I ben my phone. And all the people bending phone and putting such an unnecessary amount of pressure on the middle of the phone its unrealistic. If you're walking around in a pair of nut huggers so tight that it bends your phone I think you should be worrying about getting a new pair of pants rather than a new phone.
