Hey guys. Picked up my first Tacoma last year and fell in love with it. I actually drove this truck from New Jersey to Washington (Where it got stolen by heroin addicts) and back again over the winter for a snowboarding trip. When I got home I decided I wanted to start putting some money into it and build up as a little adventure rig. Im a photographer and Im always exploring around in places I probably shouldn't so the point of the truck is take me and all my gear to places other people can't get to. Anyways. Here she is.

    -01 Dbl Cab, TRD, Auto
    -Leer bed cap
    -Toytec Ultimate Kit
    -15x8 steelies with 33" T/A KM2's

And I currently have some goodies accumulating in my living room waiting to get thrown on including.

    -All Pro Apex front bumper
-Smittybilt 9,500lbs winch w/ synthetic cable (getting tired of winching myself out of problems with the Hi Lift jack)
    -LED lights

So far the truck has blown me away with what its capable with. I wasn't sure if the lift and tire size would be enough for what I get myself into but its been great. I don't do much adventuring where I find myself needing any large amount of flex or clearing. Im never really rock crawling, more just driving through fields and swamps and through the woods. I am thinking about getting wider flares and cutting the my fenders more to squeeze 35's mainly because I just think that 35's fit the truck better but that seems like something everyone hates on. Was also thinking about running a small body lift but I think I've read enough to be scared away from that too haha. I have plans to build a rear bumper with a swing out tire carrier too. Don't really have room to fit it in the bed when its fully loaded. Im also looking too add a flow master muffler just to give the exhaust some character.

Anyways let me know what you think and if anyone else is from the Philly area let me know!

And an shameless plug to my photo work for any other photographers on here

    Your truck looks amazing!

I'm looking to get a few modifications on my 2001 Double Cab right now; if you don't mind could you tell me whether or not you ever got the Flowmaster muffler installed? I've been considering getting the same part for my own truck.

    Thank you,
