Show me your numbers about how the team who wins the coin toss always wins the game.

From 1974-2011 teams that won the coin toss only won 52% of the time. That was when a field goal is all that was needed. Now that a touchdown is needed that will drop slightly over time but it will still be damn near 50/50.

    http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/sto...hat-win-coin-toss-win-game-52-percent-of-time

As far as sudden death, the old rule allowed a team to kick a field goal and win. You would only have to drive the ball 45 yards to have a shot to win the game. Now, you can only win on the first drive if you score a touchdown which means you will typically be driving 80 yards. If you kick a field goal the other team gets a chance with the ball.

I don't really feel 'bad' per se, same as I did with Grammatica.

Unfortunate, yes, but it can happen. Perhaps if one weren't acting like an 8 year old on a sugar binge, you'd still be playing.

I get the whole 'rush' aspect. I know how it feels to be happy. But maybe dial it back just a hair and this wouldn't be a problem.

So... It's good to be 2-1, although if fucking shit doesn't change quick, we are a 7-9 team this year... GET YOUR FUCKING SHIT TOGETHER O-LINE/RECEIVERS! Defense, keep being awesome. God damnit did the Pats look like a bag of smashed assholes on offense against the fucking Raiders. Here's a weird concept, if your players are sucking, find new ones! How fucking hard is it to find an offensive lineman? They make shit for money, relatively speaking, look like they've never seen a fucking treadmill, and get paid to literally push people. I can find three lines of offensive linemen in fucking wal-mart, and we can't find a single one to play football for $750k/yr? Get the fuck out of here. I read a breakdown of all passing plays for Brady last Sunday, he got off his first progression TWICE, the whole game, because every time he dropped back, or caught the ball in the gun, his fucking OL was getting raped by CFL level pass rushers. Yeah, he's missed some throws, but he looks miserable, and uncomfortable out there, obviously he can't trust his OL to do shit. Sign Incognito, sing kumbaya around a burning football, share a couple twinkles with each other, I don't give a fuck, the OL needs to get better or were fucked. Kaep's dealing with the same bull shit. I don't think any other QB would do any better than either of them in their shitty situations, the only thing that saves Tom is the defense, which SF doesn't have. Idk, I'm fucking frustrated.

I did not say the team that wins the coin toss always wins the game, read my post again.

Bridgewater looks good. Hopefully the ankle injury isn't too bad.

How Todd Haley still has a job is beyond me. The only thing I can think of is Dom Capers and Todd Haley both have pictures of their head coaches drunk molesting the neighbors cat, or something.

Absolutely nuts...7 seconds. That niner game had me screaming quite a bit, but actually pulled it off. The D totally shut down the eagles but special teams killed us. Kaeps time management and running around drives me nuts... If you are gonna run... run upfield for the yards.

You KNOW the Saints are missing Sproles right about now

Aside from the shitty first game, their last 3 games have been promising. I'm a huge Dallas fan, and would be the first to say they were gonna throw against NO but NO has not been very hot this season.

Am I the only one enjoying Alex Smith and the Chiefs just killing Brady and Pats right now?
