Ride quality is such a subjective thing too. Everyone defines their ideal ride quality a little different so what's great for one person can be too soft or firm for the other.. There are aspects of the icons I love, however in some areas I feel that they are just way too firm, even with the compression nob set all the way to the softest setting. Again, this can easily be because of the preload and the only way of really knowing is to test them without the preload

Sorry to hijack your thread Stefen and thanks to everyone for the feedback. I have a new mountain bike and some remodeling at home that are my current projects so it'll be a bit before I circle back to the truck.

No worries man, I'm glad you rode with me to be able to speak for the difference between the clickers and resis vs basic coilovers from ADS

 

No prob man! You hit alot of key points. I'd suggest spindles as well, that does give me an unfair advantage

Something else I'll have to find pictures of, ADS does their compression adjustors slightly different than others, while also offering 1-20 different settings. I'm trying to get Brian to create some sort of catalog for us to look at prices and what goes into each shock, but I'll do my best to pass along the info to you guys on here.

Agreed, my old 33's (Nitto) weighed more then my 35's MTR's F'hh Nitto's

Yeah they weigh the most out of tires there are a few that are heavier but not a whole lot

 

I get about 15mpg with 35s and 4.56 gears...but don't tell me to confirm that cuz I honestly don't even wanna know if it's lower

Those Nitto's weigh a ton & I really don't want to know what the actual MPG is.

 

Yea I the TGs looked good but I dont miss them, my 35 Hankooks weigh bout the same or less than the 33 TGs haha
