made it up to twin cone today to peep some leaves. holy shit there was a shit ton of people on Kenosha!

took a small detour below the summit to get this
    811D9433-5E6C-4595-B1A6-FBCD137C94C6_zps_94057fd8021642f42b29c47ba63e7dc2407b4845.jpg

then slithered our way through the summit crowds and hit twin cone.

found a nice spot for lunch and to air down.

not too busy heading up. a few slow jeeps but we made it up solo easily.

Fun and interesting trip today. Jenny creek was open and pretty interesting on the way out. Will post pics later.

Successful trip today. Was joined by Night Eagle, TeamHypoxia, odomandr, flboarder, huskerherm, Blacktacoma23, kain102708, and someone's friend in a Jeep.

We were down to 5 trucks by the time we hit Jenny Creek, but it was in fact open. From what I can tell from older info, the trail was significantly rerouted, and we drove on quite a length of brand new road. Only one real creek crossing.

    Pics to come later.

Just offset the "in creek" part about 50 yards. It's been a few years, and it was on a bike, and I ran it top to bottom, but I believe everything else is the same

Hoping someone took pictures of the new section of trail. FS did some serious work to create that. It was weird driving on a newly created section of trail. Lots of stumps. I was afraid someone was going to pop a dura trac. And fifteen yards either side was littered with logs.

Hmm, I will have to check it out one day.

It was pretty bad ass. All hands, arms and legs remained inside the vehicle for the duration of the ride.
