    Looking for a good/reputable shop in or around the Fayetteville area that does CB radio installs. Any recommendations?

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    there's a CB shop east of simmons air field. i think it's knight's electronics (1575 McArthur Rd). install is pretty easy though. i used them to buy coax and peak my CB.

    What was involved in PEAKING your unit? (that sounds bad)
    Is the coax the same as cable tv just different end connectors?

    peaking is where they go internally and get the CB to push slightly more power w/o running an amp. the coax is different.

    PA System
    The coaxial cable that CB radios and antennas use have UHF connections on them; I believe most also use an r-58 coax cable.
