I'll bring firewood and as always an axe and machete. Oh that reminds me, last outing with ProPhase we actually used my ax for the first time on a trail. We cut and moved a HUGE tree blocking the trail.

    ok it wasn't that huge.

it was just big enough to not drive over it.

maybe tree is too big of a word for it.

    it was manly though.

May have to let him come, it'd be nice to have someone to roll back with in case of emergency, plus butcher cancelled out.

I will throw some in my truck too.

Last trip I went on, I was cutting logs down that were across the trail, then driving over them at factory height, mostly in 2wd. If it is big enough that you couldn't drive over it, chances are an axe would take all day to cut it up.

Also, I'll throw in my chainsaw and a few other things. Anybody know if we can have a fire out that way for sure?

I was going to go on the lost corner outing which turned into WABDR to Naches, but pulled out at last minute. Everybody that went said epic trip. I was kicking my own ass for awhile on that.

Google maps, follow i82 north from yakistan to i90, and it is the first exit west on i90, canyon road exit 109.

Legit list, wouldn't be surprised if a few can't make it due to stuff coming up etc. that's definitely a full roster depending on how technical the trails are regardless.

According to this website there is no burn ban in effect, plus i think it has rained enough.

    https://www.co.kittitas.wa.us/firemarshal/burn-ban.aspx

Stuff always comes up so I wouldn't be surprised if one or two people pull out last minute, stuff always happens and its not a big deal.

I'm trying to convince my wife that pulling out is a viable option. She keeps insisting it isn't, so I am going on this one.

Saturday morning. Prophaze is also yakistan and making it a day trip. Several more of us are camping. It is something like a 3 hour drive each way for me, so I am camping.

ProPhaze777 I see that your from the YAK.... I see so many tacomas around here but not many on the forums......!! How often do you get out of town and go wheeling? I have some jeep buddies at work I go out with once in a while. We have hit Funny Rocks, Ahtanum Ridge, go exploring up by Rimrock once or twice with them. Not sure how long you have been around this area but i have some sliders I have partially welded together and I'm trying to find someone to help me finish them up. Know any shops or locals around that can do it??

If you are up for a drive, Jake from Bellingham (Jeverich on here) is trying to get a small scale fab shop going. He has a design for sliders as well as equipment for dealing with all the metal. Hard part is finding time with him.
