Thanks. Makes me want to go wheeling again. I miss being outside in general. Haven't been hiking in months, or fishing for that matter.

I brought my truck in today for an oil change and tire rotation(the do same side swap) and driving home i notice the after market radio now doesn't work. Time to drive back and figure out wtf they did. It has power and the colored buttons light up but the display etc won't work and i don't think it powers off when the truck is off.

 

Unless they touched it with a bunch of oil on their hands, I don't see how else they could have messed up the radio doing the oil or tires.

 

Did my good deed for the day. Some girl was stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire and they couldn't get one of the lug nuts off, and it started to round off. The tire was already off the bead and sliced by the rim, so there was no chance of using fix a flat. There was a mechanic across the street, so I pulled her car with my tow strap through the busy intersection, to the mechanic so they could remove the lug nut and put the spare on. Because it was FWD, the rim was just spinning on the tire, and all the power went to the drivers side because lol open diff.



And my GF wonders why I keep all my gear with me, all the time

I wrote up a little waiver before towing her though, and we both signed it and I photographed it. Something along the lines of "the owner acknowledges that any potential damage her vehicle is not my fault, and she agrees with my offer to tow her vehicle."

 

I thought all of the Neons died out...
