What did you expect? I said my opinion and I also complimented the truck, it's very nice but when you say 'fuck all the haters' and most people that say they wouldn't buy one actually would, then their 5100s are better with an SR5 suspension.. etc etc etc, I am going to throw my $0.02 in there. Look how many owners bought a baja and swapped the suspension out, it will happen sooner or later.

Nice truck OP. 40K is a lot of moolah, but it is a pretty nice rig.

Uh no. This is the most asinine thing I've heard on this forum.

If I was deadset on getting a Tacoma and knew that I would never mod the suspension I may look into the Pro line. They're pretty nice. But, 40k on midsize truck is a bit much, but then again it is Toyota. At least you got the Inferno color which I think is a pretty sweet color. I just have a hard time having a completely stock vehicle. We just got a 2014 Rav4 as our family car since we have a kid now (traded in a wrangler rubicon on 37's for it) and I'm trying to talk my wife into letting me mod it. Wrap it in satin black, black wheels, drop it about 3", lol. She's not havin it though. In the end it just means more money for the Tacoma!

I have not seen one owner besides the op discuss price paid for a TRD pro, do you know where these prices have been discussed? Getting one for sticker or a few hundred under seems difficult enough at this point...

$34.5k would be about sticker for a sport if it had JBL, Nav & Entune Prem. My Truck is a fully loaded Off-Road and stickered in at $35.5K. $2k more for all the TRD bits is a bargain, when you consider it would cost you at least that in the aftermarket for the lift, and by pass shocks and tuned springs. Plus I like the extra color coded items as well.

Congrats Op, you are living the dream.

I just sent a friend to the dealer I bought my truck from a week ago, where I got $2k off sticker on my Off-Road. I don't know if it had anything to do with me getter there right at closing time 9:30pm, but my friend went in, asked for the same guy.

They wouldn't budge off sticker $33.5K + Lic & tax on a '15, SR5, DCLB in Super white with Nav & Entune but no JBL.

Seems like it's hit or miss with these dealers, it's pointless to reffer them business since they just decide when it's right for them to give someone a good deal. My buddy went down with cash in hand too. Too bad for them I guess.

Personally I think its an awesome truck. Congrats on the new buy. While 40k is a good amount of money, you bought it because you really dont have to do much to it right?
I think it looks great, probably handles like a dream, and you can immediately drive it into the dirt without having to deal with upgrading it.

NOW GO PINSTRIPE THE SHIT OUT OF IT! haha. and also upload pictures.

Congratulations on the truck. All I will add is 40k for a midsize truck with a dated engine and sub par suspension is insane. Especially considering I am walking out with a F150 FX4 at 43k.

But, its your truck, drive the wheels off of it and enjoy man! Again, congrats!

43k for an F150 is insane, IMO.

OP, beautiful truck. Let's see more pics!

Well, I had the wife convinced to go get an Inferno one this weekend, but they called and said it had sold.

I really want a white one with the factory tow package.

I guess I'll round out the colors

Wanted inferno, but this had just come off the truck. Got a couple things I want to do to it, but for the most part it's just how I want it(as far as getting it from the factory)

Just need a tonneau (make it easier to bring my rifles around, MA laws, I really don't need to say more lol), tint the front windows maybe, LED interior lights, remote start/alarm.....

I think it's worth the price to have everything covered under warranty. Plus you don't have to spend weeks waiting on all your parts to come in and get put on. And you can pay once and be done. Not to mention the resale value on a pro will be way better than an sr5 done to the nines.

Being TW, people may tell you otherwise, but carmax will give you way more when you sell to them a pro rather than some souped up base model.

Beautiful truck....more than I would spend on a Taco, or any truck for that matter, just because a prefer a cheaper, more basic truck. On the other hand, I would(and have) spend more than that on a musclecar, but that's just me.;)

Pretty cool, I was looking into buying one actually, but bought my 14' OR a couple months ago for $30.5k. The exclusivity of it is nice but for $6k more I have better suspension, wheels and tires... Do want that color matched parts and toyota grill though...

I bought the manual for the fact not as many out there if I ever sell.

Realized I sound like a dick, seriously I would've probably bought one if I wasn't so impatient, and cheap.

Why are people on TW rude? If the guy dropped 40k on a brand new truck don't tell him its not worth the money.

    Thats messed up.

    Its a badass truck.
