    just looked at my last post #85 i believe. and noticed the color difference. these photos were taken within one minute of each other and is it just me or is this the same truck? am loving this color more and more every time i look at it.

    Hey sport!! That's the beauty of Pyrite.....it can look grey, brown or even greenish depending on the light. It is a gorgeous color on a truck!!

    When I was shopping around for my truck, I was dead set on getting a Black Sand Pearl Tacoma but the dealership didn't have any in stock. Saw the Pyrite Mica and thought it was the most unique looking color on a truck which was awesome! Had to wait about a week and half to get mine but definitely worth the wait. Am a happy camper!

    When I bought mine I wanted this color SO bad. They only had a sport in that color and the sales guy tried to tell me that off roads don't come in that color and tried to tell me they were the same. It is sweet!

    Thats a nice looking truck. I have the same color without any Mods. I wud like add black tube steps...can't really find any for Taco's. Do you know any place(internet preferred).

    Added VS Wipers, Cruise Control, DRL, Undercover SE Bed Cover
    That is a twin to the Taco I bought last October. And even being a basic model I get lots of compliments on it. My only complaint about the paint is that it seems scratch easily particularly around the door and tailgate handles and it leaves white scratches the are very noticeable. Other than the scratch issue I very pleased with the truck.

    Isnt this a problem with all colors though? What are the white scratches from? I am just asking cause I am stuck between three colors right now: Red, white or Pyrite (1st choice:D)!

    I am not sure why the scratches show up as white in my Pyrite Mica. I am sure the scratches are from dangling keys around the handles. I have not yet tried to fix the scratches.
