A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.

That's why it's removable and not permanent.

It's for looks. To each their own. I only did it to see if I like it. If I don't, or want to sell the guns I can remove it with ease.

Not trying to attack you personally as I don't know you. I just keep seeing that done for years here and there and to me it looks awful. It's your firearms though so do what you want.

I don't feel attacked and yeah I think my douchebag went up +5 with the raised white lettering. In the TW term it's time to debadge or derp. :D

5 posts later on his "mod" and it comes back to "your firearms so do what you want."

Should've been assumed 5 posts ago. Talk about it when he asks you to buy them from him, otherwise it doesn't matter in the slightest possible way.

It won't melt too much, I did my XD and it did fine. Maybe after putting a lot but I don't think 20 would do it.

Didn't say anything about that. I just asked do you really need to tell someone 3 or 4 times that you don't like THEIR posessions before you say that they can do what they want with it? It is allowed, sure, but what purpose is it serving for you? Or for him?

I told him once. Not 3 or 4 times. Let's not make this a bigger deal than it needs to be.

Years ago someone told me something I was doing was stupid too and I'm thankful that someone had the balls to say something otherwise I'd still look like a tool for doing it. That's how we learn. I told him that it was his gun so he can do what he likes but IMO it looks goofy. He didn't seem as offended by my statement as you however so maybe he has the ability to make his own decisions. In fact, I respect people more who don't fly off the handle as it shows the ability to actually reason and converse w/o resorting to hyperbole. It's an art largely lost these days.

Then again, this is the thread of people putting 50 accessories on their rifle before they've ever even fired it or bought ammo so I guess I just need to remind myself what forum/thread I'm in whenever I see stuff like this and go back to keeping my advice to myself for fear or some participation medal recipient getting their sensitive feelers hurt.:rolleyes:

Never saw the live thread. Have no idea what happened on the live thread. Don't really care either to be honest. If it all stemmed from someone voicing a simple opinion in a matter-of-fact way w/o personally attacking anyone I would look towards those who received the simple opinion as the problem though.

I don't know him personally so I don't know if he's smart or dumb nor did I say anything personally about him. Smart people do dumb things all the time. :D
