    About ten pounds.

Honestly, I wouldn't put much weight on it at all for any length of time. Anything over two normal sized guys seem to strain the tailgate straps.

I've had 2 grown men about 160 lbs each and another man "half cheeked" on mine.

So guessing at the total weight I've had about 325-350 lbs. But that was across the whole tail gate.

But anything in the 250 close to 300 lbs on ONE SPOT is dent waiting to happen.

You can load a dirt bike from a single ramp as well. I know this for a fact.
I've loaded a 2014 KTM and Yamaha both 450cc many times. No damage yet.

I'd never attempt anything over 400-450 lbs. on a single ramp.

Well I average around 240lbs my wife a little over 2 years ago at full pregnancy and my oldest son who was 7yo at the time (I don't remember what either of them weighed at the time) and is one of the taller kids in his school all sat on it at once and it handled it fine.

I'm sure it can handle a few people sitting. I mean unless these are very large people, then I might limit it. :notsure:

I can stand on one size 16 foot on my tailgate with all my 285 lbs and haven't heard any snaps, crackles, or pops.

Slightly over 6.5 ft. 285 lbs (and dropping). 35 inch inseam. Size 15/16 shoe.

Also I like spending time on the beach with friends, reading by a roaring wood fire, and daiquiris.
