Good stuff in here guys!

I thought of another I hadn't mentioned before. For us manual guys that change out the stock shift knob and left with that ugly chrome trim piece. I used a black rubber washer that fit perfect and covered most of the chrome. I remember when I did this years ago and another member had actually used a rubber tie rod boot to the same effect but it covered the entire chrome top.

i did do a modified version of the zuk mod for a couple inches of lift in the rear. it cost me nothing but time, my father in law use to sell play ground equipmetn so i used a couple playground springs he had laying around and welded a plate top and bottom to them and bolted the top plate to my frame and the bottom one is secured by the stock u bolts. Before anyone says anything, ive already been informed that welding spring steel is less than recomendable, as i have a thread dedicated to this mod already and plenty of slack has been thrown at me there.

    before front lift [IMG]
after 5100's @ 1.75" in front to brind back factory rake (it did settel a half inch or so, since i drove a couple weeks on it before i got the billies) [IMG]
its a little stiff when im empty, but rides fantastic with 100# or more in the bed or when hauling a boat or trailer. I plan on building a tool box and a tailgate/tailgate extended and tire carrier so after i add that weight i should be doing alright.

I thought that mod was really cool man! Idk, people are just debbie downers cause its not the best way in their opinions. Do you think that the springs could sag overtime or were they pretty heavy duty?

Nice man, flex and handle loads without squatting good? This would be awesome if I could weld, it'd save my leafs from sagging as much, kind of like airbags

Yeah i no lomger have bump stops as i am using the coils as "bumps" i suppose. Ive only done some yard flexing but it did pretty well. They actually make a plate that is made to go inside the coil and then bolt to something, and that would be quicker easier and prolly safer than welding, u would just have to get longer u bolts. And ive pulled a 20' suntracker pontoon and my truck sits about perfectly level. So much better with a load than stock

Awesome mods in here! Will be doing many of the bed rail ones myself in the future.

I was thinking this. Also, this may be nit picky but where the gun is position is the opposite of where I would want to grab it if I was sitting in the drivers seat.
