each his own i guess. I don’t mind cans but i like glass better.
I think we do scrap differently than you guys(at least i know differently than NY) we don’t get 5 cents back for cans and bottles.

We recycle cans i crush them up in 55gal trash bags and take them to the scrap yard and get paid by the pound. thats why they get crushed can fit 3 to 3.5 times as many in a bag= more weight=more money.

I never bought it but a buddy had some and i did not like it very much. maybe i’m just use to the darker heavier lager.

I have seen some places have limited lighting in beer aisles to help with this as well.

really the only beers i can think of that are in clear glass in carona and bud light lime, i’m sure there are others but thats all i can think of off the top of my head.

 

They are clear so you can measure how much diharrea to expect the following morning.

 

Is scrapping different than recycling? Selling cans and bottles is scrapping?

You'd figure cans would be scrapping, and bottles would be recycling. Here, they reuse the bottles once you turn them in.

It really does, but at the same time, if you've been stopped up for a while......

No georgia doesnt have a deposit on cans or bottles either. A big contractor bag of crushed cans might get you $15

No. some states do but we do not, i kinda wish we did. i still recycle glass/plastic and all that just don’t get paid for it.

you can take cans to the scrap yard just like any other metal and get paid by the pound Thats what i do.

I know NY get like 5 cents back per can/bottle.

 

I took my pop cans and water bottles back a couple days ago and got $69

10 cents for cans and regular bottles , 20 cents each for 2 litre and over

 

yeah depending on what aluminum is going for. i usually wait and take 4 or 5 bags at a time. I get like $80 from doing that one day.

 

thats nice i wish we had it like that. I think it helps encourage more people to recycle it all.

 

Wow. We pay a CRV of 5 cents per can when we buy the product, and aluminum is around $1.50/lb

i think thats how most places are you pay an extra “fee” when you buy them but you can get it back.
