Okay, I am going to build a front winch bumper for Roxy... Hybrid seems like the best protection for the winch and tube sides for the high clearance. Thinking of just welding it on. Trail truck right? My stock mounts are both slightly bent so I can't use those to measure off of, let alone winch off of. Edumacate me Raymond! (or anyone else lol)

lol Imma just steal all my dad's tools. (hopefully)

I Plan to just stick with the stock 31's, just getting the heavy duty kit more for increased spring load versus increasing ride height. If I add a front and rear bumper, plus winch, a bed rack (currently designing) with a extra tire on it (2 extras in total) 20gal extra gas (im afraid of running out) and a RTT, its a bit of weight added without really loading any gear, once gear is all added, it would for sure increase the load

I dont know where this is...

Ok guys so here is the plan. Next Saturday (or another day lol) we need to sketch this bad boy up. Cardboard cutouts maybe? How does one normally plan out a bumper??? AutoCAD is just driving me crazy since I do not have a full AutoCAD file of the front of the truck (and I do NOT want to build one in AutoCAD) so matching the height and angles and everything is crazy.

    Needs of said bumper.
    1. Be stronger than moose.
    2. XRC Comp 9500 winch must fit

    Current ideas.

    Sounds legit.

    What springs?

And my $.02 would be to get some sliders even with your short wheelbase, wouldn't want to ding her in the rocker panel! All of the stuff you mentioned might total to 250-400 pounds over stock?

It's solid, I love it. It yanked one of our other members out of some goopy ass mud and didn't even flinch.

Two bolts on the bottom of each frame rail, two bolts that come up off the sides of each frame rail, and theres also holes to put another bolt through the front of each frame rail. So a total of 10 grade 8 bolts.

Dang, I gotta see this... Sounds perfect to me! I might not need to weld it on then! But since I have access to the college welding shop I might gusset the frame anyways... :notsure:

Yeah I wouldn't bother welding it on. Plus its way easier to pull off if you need to remove it for whatever reason.
