Headlight bulbs

Is there a hyperwhite light bulb replacement that does not have a blue/green/yellow tint. I am looking for a bright white like in a benz or bmw.

Can anyone help me with this?? Website to buy it???

Those are HIDs in Beemers and MB's. Blue is what makes the light output look "white".

 

Yup hes right.
A lot of the OEM HID kits are 4300k. Take a look for a HID kit if you want the true super white look.

 

Also Sylvanias (Sp?) are about 40-80 bucks depending on the quality. They have some really nice hyper white bulbs.

Look for the 9003 xx models.

 

You can never go wrong with PIAAs. Thats what I have in my truck. I believe I have the super white plasmas.

 

I got a pair of those Sylvania Silver Stars-they are a white-white technology as opposed to that annoying blue-white one and I LOVE them. They light up your path very well-way better than standard bulbs, they're LEGAL, and they don't blind people. Plus they look good when they're on

 

I've read that people have a had a problem with the Silver Stars not lasting long. I personally havent tried them, but it was enough for me to go with the PIAAs. I guess some people have had some pretty good success with them.

 

I've got the Siler Stars and they are alot brighter than the stock bulbs. I love when people flash me on the highway thinking that my brights are on....then i get to show them MY brights! hahaha

 

What size bulb would we get for an '08? I'm guessing that they are simple to switch out with the factory bulbs.
I like the legal part of this option. In NC they do have annual state vehicle inspections which include headlights; and misdirected HID's will attract more law enforcement.

 

For the headlights you use the H4 bulbs. Fog lights are H10 Bulbs which are kind of a pain to find.

Well you guys are RIGHT..you got me to go fishing around and BOY did I read a lot of complaints about longevity problems-good thing I kept the old bulbs! So Manny-strike my recommenation. I wish I knew this befor I went and spent 90 bucks. Oh well I'll enjoy them while they last

Glad I'm not the only one that has been having trouble finding the fog light bulbs. I can't find even a standard bulb in a store, never mind upgrading to a better bulb.
