The RC used to be the #1 choice for poverty trucks.

Now that Toyota has stopped making the RC, the AC is now designated as the #1 poverty truck.

DCLB for the win! I also love my DC and would not go to an AC. I had an AC years ago and it became impractical. At the time I had two kids and a wife, so the AC did not make sense. Now the kids are grown up and gone, got rid of the wife...now I have a DC for dogs and friends! Lots of room to go camping, trips, etc.. Don't regret the DC AND don't regret getting rid of the wife!:)

I use the 5' box everyday for work and business and have no complaints on the space. I had a '13 F-150, FX4 EcoBoost, full crew cab of course and 6' box and most of the space in that truck bed went to waste. Also at the expense of having to deal with a truck as long as an aircraft carrier in that configuration.

I don't know, out here in California anything you want to haul home, that is too big for the 5' box can be delivered for FREE. When we bought our new home this past spring, ordered a new fridge, and washer/ dryer plus countless plants and trees etc.... In almost every case I offered to haul the items home myself, but the company insisted that they would for no charge.

I can't think of anything in this day in age, that I need to bring home or haul where a company selling won't deliver it for free. Again at 18-25 years old I see the want to strong arm a fridge out if the back of a pickup, but at my age I'm saving my back and letting the store delivery do it.

Also no way I'm putting my kids in an extended cab, if I can legitimately afford to provide a more safer solution.

I'm over 35, the kids are moving out, so why would I want anything but an AC?

At over $31k, I have to disagree.

I love the regular cab/short boxes but unfortunately we don't get them up here. Still love my DCSB though, fits MTB's and people perfectly.

No significant other, no kids. Never want kids. Have a DCLB, because I'm not going to make sacrifices on space.

For me personally, I only wanted an access cab. I don't want to drive groups of people around. And I love my long bed. Nope no second thoughts for me.

    I have a 2014 double cab...second one, other was an 06.
    Love them.

Would like an access cab because it would hold the stuff I need (along with my canopies)...but not my children and occasional passengers.

    So, yes and no;)

I love my double cab. The only reason I sometimes wish I had an access cab is because you cannot get a DC with any sort of box in Canada in the TRD OR package. Even in the year I bought mine you could only get a TRD OR in a manual transmission with a short box, which was not the truck I wanted at all.

That being said I then remind myself of all the times I've had 4-5 guys in the truck for a bit and quickly realize I would of hated an AC. Stupid Toyota Canada for no letting me get the options I wanted in the type of truck I wanted.
