This dog came to us because of a broken femur. Wife worked at a vet clinic in Lynnwood at the time. He had a torn ACL and spun meniscus on his opposite knee about a year and a half ago, which prompted the first TPLO surgery to put a plate into his leg. After 8 weeks, of healing, and going to physical therapy in Ballard, he went under the knife again to have the plate taken back out, more healing time, and that has mostly healed now. He has an appointment we got lucky enough to get for today at 2:30. Hopefully they will tell us he bumped something wrong and will hurt for a few days then be fine.

Hope for the best! My 12.5 year old yellow lab that still bounces, runs and swims like a puppy a lot, we take her to a doggy chiropractor about once a month to get adjusted. With her running and swimming so much she will randomly start limping at night and then the chiropractor does her thing and she is just like new. Hopefully something small for your dog

I'll be in Auburn for the next few days, any suggestions of a place to eat tonight for a group of 8 people? Doesn't need to be fancy, just somewhere that has a nice atmosphere for socializing.

    Thanks.

The Rock in Lakeland Hills. About the only place in Auburn I would really recommend.

But if you guys are looking for different food, check out Oddfellas Pub in downtown.

So I saw a couple people talking about trail difficulty with the Saturday ride. Its suppose to be easy to medium trails I get. has anyone been to these trails, my wife was asking me about her and our 6 month old baby going tomorrow....... I was thinking prob. not! Any other advise or info about the trails or location specifically?

What trails are we doing Brian, Fortune Creek and Mine to Market again? If so those trails are pretty mild. A little rocky and bumpy, slow going but nothing too off camber or anything. There are a couple hard sections on Mine to Market but there are bypasses as well.

My rig is loaded and I'm ready to go. Going to go watch my last M's game of the year and have a few brewskis, see you guys in the morning.

King of Pho on auburn way. You should see a couple evo 10s parked on the street, a couple Toyota Matrix, and a small foreign SUV on blocks across the street at a friend's house.

    Kid counts for carpool lane.

I need to start packing soon too. Going to have to leave home by 7 at the latest to meet up with you on time in E-burg. Don't forget recovery gear, and if anybody has traction pads or plates, like Will's (penguin_cc) fiberglass things, it would be good to bring them for mud.

While trails may be easy to medium, I personally wouldn't bring a child that young out. Pretty sure at least a couple people have hit these trails before. If you have issues, there should be enough trucks to help move along.

I keep hearing how rocky it is, is there much mud at all along these trails? How long does it take to run these?

    That might be me.

    I'm Sam:)
Learned about the excursion over on the NW thread of the 4runner forum when trying to rally the troops to Gallagher Head Lake on the same day and asked if I could join this one. In fact probably stopping there at the lake to fish/camp and not continuing up to Hawkins Mtn Mines or Mine to Market (if you were planning on getting more adventurous). If my dog would stay out of the mud I'd bring her, but as it is It'll just be me.

I plan on bringing a couple logs to burn, propane fire backup, instant canopy, and whatever else looks useful for an overnighter out of the camping storage. The 10x14 Kodiak canvas tent is probably overkill so I'm just going to pull my storage drawers out and crash in the back of the runner.

Anywho, figured I'd register over here and say hi before the "who the f is this guy?" looks at Safeway.

If the convoy is too long to deal with I'll be the first to bow out and take alternate route.

    Cheers
The bearded guy in the green and black 4runner

Is it me your asking? I Offroad, don't know what sport is. The swaybars was on when I bought the truck. Like how it handles on road. That's why I was going to take them off.

Welcome! Nah I had your place saved since Joe added you in a while ago. We will probably end up doing Gallagher just because that is a really good place to camp at with a bunch of trucks and since a lot of people haven't been up there.

I was planning on doing some trail that goes far back (not sure of the name) but I looked on google maps and it seems to go far. If not we can do Van Epps or Gallagher again since not many people have been up there. Plus the lake may be a really good spot to camp since we have so many trucks. We can decide when we meet up in the morning.
