Wow. Ever tried it? More importantly, do you wish you had tried something else?

Oooh, wait, I want to play!

I would make a 12-ft long sub using the finest aged jamon Iberico that requires me to fly to Spain and back over a 48-hour period just to fetch the good stuff. And I would bake the bread from scratch, too. Hell, for Kanye, I'd even grow the wheat.

Considering it's my first truck, I love my regular cab. I'd like a little bit more space sure, but you don't drive a truck to haul people. It's all relative to people's wants/needs tho.

    I'd try it.

I ate a baby octopus at a sushi restaurant the other day and I'm still kickin' so, why not.

Your absolutely right, it is none of my business and I could give a hill of beans about anyone's personal finances, education, or how and what they use their truck for.

Since this thread is a discussion about DC .vs AC I simply gave my reasons on why it doesn't work for me. I don't like the look, I think the space is wasted (given the choice would rather have reg cab with 8' box). The only time I find the AC configuration preferable, is on the 5-lug. As the DC on the 5-lug is probably the most heinous vehicle offered for sale since the Pontiac Aztec.

I am glad that Toyota builds AC versions though, because it's good business to have a flavor for every taste. I'm really sorry some people here are offended or even butthurt, seams like that is always the outcome when individual preferences are spelled out between the various trims, options and drivetrains regarding these trucks.

What about the HHR, PT Cruiser, Nissan Cube? Now you're just being unfair and not giving credit where credit is due.

    And...the Nissan Juke??

You do if you use a truck for (wait for it)......................…

....... Actual work and to drop kids off at School. Car seats don't work well in a standard cab or access cab. Just stating the obvious.

Ever seen the 5-lug, Double Cab? No offense to anyone here that has one of those, but it is the most rediculous looking thing I've ever seen on four wheels. Looks like someone slammed a PreRunner, then put the doughnut tires off a Ford Fiesta under it at all four corners. Only the Smart car look more asinine, but by a narrow margin.

Do I need to post an actual pic? Funny because I earn a six figure income using mine as such.

Here's one of our "useless" 5' box Tacoma's being used for actual work. There's about 400-500 lbs in that box.

    Here's another.....

Oh, I have a idea. When I get my new frame I'll have them order a dclb frame and put my ACCESS cab on it and then extend the bed. So I'll have even more bed space not being used!
