Even with the event of a front in collision. Bolts keep it attached to the truck, the points it's mounted to is what takes the force of impact

Correct, I should have stated I mean to tie it back to the shock tower area. A lot stronger back there (no crumple zone crap) GTF does it that way on a lot of theirs

You're a smart man lol. When I made mine I had it mount to the body mount bolts near the fender to the sub frame and body

haha yeah, that wouldn't even hold a winch long term, let alone a full pull at 9500 pounds!

I meant I used the body mount bolts in addition to the regular bumper mounts

Well, I am getting kinda far with AutoCAD... :D But now comes the hard part lol actually seeing if it fits. But I might need your help cleaning this up. What file type would you want? .dwg?

As for suspension, I will probably just go thru GTF when I get mine, they deal the stuff and ship it up in bulk so shipping is minimal for us. Just give them 1-2 month's lead time to be sure it gets on the next shipment. Normally they stock 880 and 881 coils with the nitrochargers which he also raves about. They are super cool over there. Dan and I BS'ed for about 30 minutes earlier about tires and suspension and potential LT :D and SAS  stuff.

BTW He recommended Toyo MT, hates BFG KM2, and also likes the Cooper STT. The BFG KO he does NOT recommend for the winter on our lighter trucks, heavier 1500's do great with them. Also, Duratracs are great in the snow and he has friends that even like them for more of an offroad tire. Just thought I would share.

I've had a regular cab 2000 and my 2013 access with KO's and they've always done good. I've seen people on here despise them too so maybe I just don't know what a good tire is lol didn't think my cooper's really did any better. I have been straight up outperformed by duratrac's in the snow though

I don't mind mine, actually like them a lot, but they are about worn out. I would get the KO2 if I wasn't looking for a little more of a MT myself.

The Toyo MTs are expensive but worth the price IMO. You won't regret them!

Yeah yellow is the frame. Red is approximate area or bolts.
